So, I'm still unsure what to think. I'm still going to keep trying of course, but the vagueness still scares me.

Great question, but his answer reminds me of how right-wing politicians evade the answers with a lot of talk-talk.

Yeah, I know, but it got the cause a little publicity, and there was a glimmer of hope there.

I know it spider-girl never bought it though don't know why just never did.

I think she is cool if she was ever in a movie I would want to play her. As if that is ever going to happen though.

Man, Joe Quesada can kiss my blaque-ass! Anyway, i've got some positive news to share: After buying all 20 copies from my comic shop, my shop owner told me that the people that recieved a "free" copy of Spider-Girl, (thanks to yours truly...)- have shown some interest, and some have asked to add the book to their weekly pulls! I don't have the exact number of those that were adding SG to their collection, but hell- 2 outta 20 ain't bad IMO! Every dollar counts at this point. If what Wolvie said about a possible re-launch is true, that'll be cool, but will Tom still be writting, and Ron still pencilling?

Hi, thought I would answer the original posted question because I just started reading Spider-Girl! I got the mini Marvel Age Graphic Novel that covers Spider-Girl #0-5. I must say I like it in this pocket book format, and I plan on getting more.

I bought it to read with my daughter who wanted it when she found out there was a Spider-Girl. My oldest son is a Spider-Man fan and we read the classic comics together and my daughter wanted in on the action. Now all three of us are enjoying Spider-Girl together.

I enjoy also seeing a more mature Peter Parker and MJ, it’s cool seeing these characters as parents of a superhero teenager along with a look into a possible future for the rest of the Marvel universe.

I also dig Spider-Girls “Ben Reilly” costume, I always thought that costume rocked. I thought the art of the series is very solid and I look forward to getting to some Ron Frenz issues who was one of my favorite and I think most under appreciated Spiderman artist.
Welcome aboard, and thank you for sharing that story about your kids! We have HIGH hopes that this book will continue on, and we'd appreicate if you could send Marvel a letter expressing your feelings about the book, and how much your daugther loves the book. Every letter helps, and again- welcome to the Spider-Girl Family!

I have been picking this up. SO is it official, is this book gone somewhere after issue #100???

I really like our pal Sals art!

Welcome to the Spider-Girl Family Deathlok2001! As far as the "relaunch" is concerned, i myself, won't say it's official just YET, until our inside guys (Jarkoer and Jeffers) say so. Not saying that Wolvie isn't right, or doesn't know- i just know when those guys say it's true, then its' true! (Sorry Wolvie, i love ya liike a stepbrother! LOL!)

so its going to restart with a number 1 again?
As far as we know, it's cancelled with #100, but this is its sixth "cancellation".

Groovy! Thanks! Designed a couple of fliers. Haven't posted the final version anywhere yet. They're both montages of a bunch of different images from the series with a lot of name-dropping. Gonna get freaky with it when April gets close, and try to get people excited all the way up through #100.

"Relaunch"? I haven't heard anything yet. Just some vagueness. Tom B. said that Tom D. is going to be writing another series for Marvel after Spider-Girl ends, but that he's under a gag order not to say anything about it. I have no idea what that is all about. It could be anything. It might not even be Spider-Girl related. But the feeling I'm getting from Tom is for us to keep on hitting away at this campaign. So I'm gonna keep up with the fliers and letters till I hear that we've made history one more time.

The info that was leaked to CylverSaber by an unknown Marvel insider back in January is that Joe's bosses will reconsider the cancellation if we can get the sales numbers up. I also heard from CylverSaber that Marvel was not planning a relaunch, and that the MC2 Universe would definitely come to an end this year if Spider-Girl isn't saved. I've been in contact with CylverSaber since then, but I haven't heard him report anything different from what he said two months ago. At the moment I know as much as you guys about what's going on.

I'm guessing Marvel's going to be looking really hard at the sales numbers for #97, so we might be getting some official news sometime before the end of April. There's going to be a Spider-Girl Panel at the Pittsburgh Convention on April 22nd. I bet my last donut that we'll probably hear some news one way or the other by then.

....And there you have it folks. Thanks J, for the updated info. We still have a lot of ground to cover gang, so let's keep pushing!!

On th' Tunderbolts bullpen page, Tom Breeovrt mentions th' effort to save SG briefly.

Oh man! I need a break from the other Spider-Girl message board for a little bit. :-p

So what did y'all think of #97? I loved that fight! Lots of emotions. I thought sure Felicity was going to die. Great balance between Spider-Girl and Mayday there. Can't wait to see where this whole thing with Courtney is headed towards.

Ron's work is the best yet! I like the way he superimposed Mayday's face into the background during the Spider-Girl moments.

I thought it was an intense read, only wish that they had kept the Hobgoblin secret under wraps which would've been a markout moment in me this side of the big "truth" in Thunderbolts 1, but I guess desperate times call for desperate measures eh?

Ron's art didn't do it for me during this issue which is strange considering I'm one of his biggest supporters, there was an absence of backgrounds during the Scrier fight which kinda irratated me

Still financially recovering from buying out all of issue #96!! But fear not, i'll be picking severval issues on Saturday! Ahh! I can't wait!

I meant to say "#96", NOT #97. My bad! lol

Joe's Friday made some vague referrence to a canceled title possibly getting "repositioned" or whatever, but there's a lot of titles getting canceled so it might refer to anything.

Tom might have some kind of work next year, but so far as I know Ron hasn't been offered any work yet. :-(

Okay, public service announcement time!

I'm going to make fliers in Previews a reality.

My partner-in-crime and I have been in contact with both Diamond and Marvel. I'm willing to foot most of the bill (it's going to cost a total of $375), but if any of you would like to make some small donation ($5 or whatever), that would be cool. Just shoot me an e-mail. You can find it either on www.freewebs.com/savemayday or www.savespidergirl.com (under John Koerner).
