BLAQUE-SPIDERMAN said:As excited as i am about the upcoming Spider-Girl issue, i'm more so anxious to learn about the future of my favorite comic title too. I know it seems like a whole lot to ask, but if you can-PLEASE pick up more than one issue of Spider-Girl, or continue flooding Marvels' office with letters! I don't know if i'll be able to maintain if i go into the comic shop, and NOT see Spider-Girl waiting for me on the shelves! (LOL!)

Hi, thought I would answer the original posted question because I just started reading Spider-Girl! I got the mini Marvel Age Graphic Novel that covers Spider-Girl #0-5. I must say I like it in this pocket book format, and I plan on getting more.
I bought it to read with my daughter who wanted it when she found out there was a Spider-Girl. My oldest son is a Spider-Man fan and we read the classic comics together and my daughter wanted in on the action. Now all three of us are enjoying Spider-Girl together.
I enjoy also seeing a more mature Peter Parker and MJ, its cool seeing these characters as parents of a superhero teenager along with a look into a possible future for the rest of the Marvel universe.
I also dig Spider-Girls Ben Reilly costume, I always thought that costume rocked. I thought the art of the series is very solid and I look forward to getting to some Ron Frenz issues who was one of my favorite and I think most under appreciated Spiderman artist.
Well the main thing that i concentrated on the MOST in you post Rez was, "...seeing moderate success" which IMO- is better than nothing at all. Believe you me, i've felt just like you many a nights, and even more so i'm sure! I'd like to thank you for standing on the frontline for this amazing comic book, and i just want to encourage you to keep your spirits up- the AIN'T over yet. All of our conserted efforts are not going to be in vain.Rez said:...I can't help but feel a bit discouraged here. While I'm continuing to pick up extra issues and hand them out free, I'm not noticing a lot of support or hype. I wasn't around comic boards the last few cancelations, but it seems to me that the same 6 or 7 people are the ones trying to stir the hype... and well nothing much is happening. I'm trying to stir things up locally, and seeing moderate success, but...
I don't know. I'm feeling defeated over here.
It's all good Wolvie, as long as you're able to pick up the issues is all that matters!WOLVERINE25TH said:I have nowhere to stir.
