Comics Doesn't anyone else read Spider-Girl??

well he's about 80 or something (healing factor) and so any girl is too young for him. 16's legal here :) (im 19, thats not so creepy for me to say)

uh... guys i think there's a big kop-out. at first i thought he'd missed her and got her clothing only but then i looked closer -- he clearly just stabs her shoulder :( Bummer, no miraculous save from death.

i couldnt get the image shack to load it but it seems clear where she's hit.

I think its the originals son isn't it?

And the wound on her is definatly serious, dead center if you look on the second panel, the original splash page is just badly angled. Plus we have the whole "Death sequence" page afterwords

well next time u get stabbed through the shoulder you try not to collapse. i just dont think its through the heart like people have been saying. i mean, lets face it, she'd die instantly.zoom on the page with the actual stabbing in the preview - u havta admit its very high up, more or less just her shoulder. its a bit disappointing.

In issue 99 I was a little disapointed that no one had died from the Hobgoblin's attack. It just doesn't fit the goblins character to let them all survive. He either would've killed one or all of them for sure.

One of the few complaints I have with the book is that the comics can be a little too "all ages" in that not enough bad things happen to the characters. Spider-Girl hasn't had near the trajedies her father had.

Yeah, and would we really miss one of the two Ladyhawks? Just saying.

The preview for 100 looks exciting. I can't wait to see what happens.

To me it looked like it was dead center, her lungs were pieced at the very least.

ok, this is in response to something u all probably know, but it comments on the preview so im gona stick a nice big SPOILER tag right here: SPOILER

SPOILER

there.

ok now ur being a bit silly. the middle of the spider is in the middle of her chest. its not above that. in fact u can clearly follow the spider up to her neck then head. look at the breast on the left (her right breast, im sure u do it all the time :P) now follow it up. thats where the stab is.
now look at ur wife/ gf/ mums (! yeah YOU) right breast and follow it up... its nearer her shoulder than her heart and the height it's at, doubting it even hit a lung. dont flame/cane/rape me for this im sure other panels will show im totally wrong but in that preview on that page, that is where she is being stabbed. doubt she's in too much major trouble. sure, blood loss and for us? fatal. for SG -- meh, she'll be shaking it off halfway through the book.

It's placement isn't very consistant I agree, but in the second panel, on the second page its dead center

^ yeah but thats a back view i think you're referring to. if u look at the first panel, second page the only noticable tear on her suit is not only on the right shoulder its nearer the bloomin armpit! hmmm... can anyone say unclear and inconsistant art?

That's the MOST "colorful" comment ever left on this board! (LOL!) Uh...wow dude! But honestly, i'm starting to fear that it maybe in fact PETER who dies- because he's really not PHYSICALLY capable of going toe-to-toe with the Hobgoblin. Kaine has his hands completely full with Scriers, and May is seriously injured! I'm too shocked, and eagerly to see how this story wraps up! Ah man, did y'all see BT get gangster on the Elder Scrier?! That whole page was awesome! What happens next??

Well regardless how we feel about EXACTLY where May was struck, we do know this- she seriously injured. But like you MPS- i believe she's going to overcome, and kick some @ss!

It can't be, he's supposed to become a big figure head in the relaunch. Maybe the death of the hero, is just May. Than she gets better, I can see that. Although I want Normie to bite it, just because the possible relationship between Parker and Osborn is to ugh to even ponder. Have her end up with the Tarantula, he's pretty hardcore, and I'm liking his style of fair play

yeah i think marvel missed a trick here, hopefully theyll sort it in the relaunch: like DC doing a one year later. why not do a 15 years later focusing on peter. i really think he should be back in costume. there's gotta be a way around that leg problem... heheh

my point was that its really not that disgusting. if he's essentially immortal then really what is a good age and 16 is considered mature enough here. i certainly was. i said it... then put a smiley face. so it really was creepy -- thort i should then clarify im not long away from that sorta age. maybe knock some paedo jokes away before they start to fly.

He had a bionic leg for a while, but Kaine got pissed off and broke it in two

someone should put up the panel of the comic it was in. u guys really have got me back into MC2 with that sort of stuff

? Details?

During the 46- 50 storyline (Maybe the best arc, other than Back in Black, and Hobgoblin) Alison Mongrain (Who originally kidnapped May for Osborn) returned, pissed off that Normie was continuing the legacy of his Grandfather. Meanwhile Kaine returns to stop her at the same time. Anyway he encounters her on the street and tries to stop her, Peter, now with new Bionic leg from the F5 tries to intervene thinking Kaine is attacking an innocent woman. As well both May and the Scarlet Spider show up at the same time as well. He throws Felicity about a mile way to get May to leave out of the picture, and than snaps Pete's leg, telling him his superheroing days are over.

I told you Mc2 had stepped it up bud, see if you can find the 3 parter Venom arc, which was great as well

MC2 is sweet. So what if it's "all ages" or light? Can't all be doom an' gloom comics. Th' gritty 80s are over.

i know, i'd just like to see more realistic problems than "minging person 1" thinks "hot person 1" likes "minging person 2", who is actually with "minging person 1". ha. obvious what im talkin about?

Uh, no. WTF is a minging?

Oh, and if they had gone the tragic route with May, people'd ***** it's just a Spidey knock-off, I betcha.

Minging is British slang. Means horrible or words to that effect...
