With the Rogue cut, this film may be my favourite of the year 2 years running

If the Rogue Cut is as good as it sounds, they should try to screen in theaters and do a bit of promo with some of the cast, especially since there are no X-Films this year..

It would also help if they could get one of the many X-films on Netflix and other online streaming services. X1 would tie in nicely with the OT cast's conclusion, X2 would probably be their strongest film, or First Class would boost the new cast.

they likely won't screen it in theaters again just for one character, and will that rescue scene which is a small alternative add on to the film structure really make this movie better and worth re-releasing?

my view on the rogue stuff is that it will probably end up rushed with rogue getting limited lines like alot of the characters did

Well the rescue scene is 10 minutes, plus the XJet scene plus in the temple. I think Rogue will have ample time and lines. She does come in later in the film but they might mention her when the future cast discuss mystique and the sentinels.

10 minutes in any film, arguably, is a good amount of time. Miss 10 minutes and alot of stuff could happen. So 10 minutes is long in a movie. Glad that also it will give Iceman, Magneto and Professor X nore screentime and lines. Iceman already has a good size role in the theatrical cut so the Rogue Cut is even better.

Anna Paquin just congratulated Bryan Singer on twitter for his twins... I know they are friends but I get the feeling Anna is appreciating this Rogue Cut release. And like Shawn, she probably went to adr sessions for the Rogue Cut.

She has a few lines, but not loads. She's pretty drugged up when they find her, and the rest of the time, you know, they fight Sentinels

I don't know who is who among the skunk-stripes, then. There's the CGI mutant that gets caught at the start, there's the first little boy Wolverine sees in the altered future + Rogue.

I thought the little boy was Nathan and that Rogue was supposed to be the CGI one before the cut, but oh well.

It was a bit of a weird decision to make Nate Grey a CGI character. I don't know much about X-man, but is anything indicated in the comics that would make Singer and Co. render him anything other than just a regular actor with white streaks.

Since I've been following this movie from the word Go, that character was one of the few things that made me say "Wait who is that guy?"

The actor that played him is 13 year-old Alex Felici-Arya, who has Waardenburg syndrome, which among other things, results in vivid blue eyes and that shock of white in his hair.

How is he a cgi character?

I'm so sorry I didn't know any of this. I was mostly talking about the character from the start of the movie. To me that character looked older than the kid that showed up at the end in the mansion. The kid at the end was definitely an actor. The character in the beginning looked CG to me.

Pretty sure I wasn't the only one who pointed this out.
