Hannibal doesn't exactly always follow his own "rules". Lt. Boyle in The Silence of the Lambs was polite. Didn't stop him being butchered.
i think he just generally detests most humans and sees them as puppets (or lunch ) apart from a few people who've earned his respect like will, clarice, etc.

Remember that random nurse? He ate half of her face off just for getting too close.

yea, that too.

this guy is not dexter morgan , people. i said something similar to that in response to a post on tumblr saying :

"
They’re making Hannibal evil… I shoulda seen this coming but still…
I was hoping he’d be an anti-hero at least. :( "

just... no.

MAKING?!

That was a great episode, the clock thing really threw me. I rewound right away to watch that part again. Nice to see Jack being a bit more caring with Will. Not quite sure how the dead girl managed to follow Will around so effectively, I wish they'd of explained it, kind of seems like lazy writing.

Looking forward to next week, I was hoping Eddy Izzard would come back.

Lol, I didnt know there were people that thought Hannibal would be a "grey" character.

Dude will kill anyone if it suited his needs except maybe children.

Hannibal was always evil.

The only time he was an "anti-hero" was Hannibal Rising.

it shouldn't be that hard to follow Will around...hell Will doesnt know how he gets to half the places he's going

Not for a regular person, no. But for a crazed rotting woman? I don't buy it.

Totally just realized it was Ellen Muth. Haha that's awesome. And she played another "dead" girl lol that was awesome. Says on Wikipedia she's credited for 2 episodes this season too

Her name is Georgia and everything. Apparently it's meant to be a re-imagination of the character.

I'm watching Red Dragon right now. Provided the series actually makes it to this point in Hannibal's history, watching Freddie Lounds meet her fate should be... quite something.

I was surprised how far off the producers are considering Red Dragon, season 4

I'd argue in Hannibal as well. Killing only "bad" people.

It also turns him into Freddy Kruger.

Going by the dinner party episode, he also seems to target people he considers rude. Although, there was the girl in the Pilot.

I'm still happy as can be about getting a second season, but it being midseason probably means it'll be ****ing forever until we get a DVD release. :csad:

Thursdays are going to be sad with nothing to look forward to when this season ends. :(

tonight’s hannibal ep was great, but…. only one slight annoyance….

how many times is freddie lounds gonna have a close encounter with a serial killer (lecter, gideon, the …. mushroom growing dude ) and NOT get killed ? it’s kinda getting hard to believe at this point. it's obvious the writers are just taunting us now with this.

like , i get that they’re saving the character for the red dragon storyline (if they get to that point, which i hope they will ) , but they’ve done SOOOOO many things differently from the books/movies that they might as well just kill this annoying ***** already. liek dayum.

but oh man... that scene at lecter's house with will. :wow: fantastic acting all around.

I've noticed that they've begun to change up Mads hairstyle. A little more slicked back. A little more Hannibal.

Dr Carruther's [blackout]moving tongue[/blackout] was awesomely gross.

Also the liked the stag popping up on the edge of the woods tonight, it's been since the hotel room organ removal incident since we seen it?
