This week was great. Will is definitely off the deep end now.

Next week, ABIGAIL!!!

Still not sure how Will can get checked into hospital and the docs don't know what's wrong with him. :(

I really like d that dream sequence in the beginning. It rivaled some of the best from the original Nightmare On Elm St. films.

The more crazy Will Graham gets the more Hugh Dancy rubs his face like crazy

did he get checked out in this episode???
I thought the one doc and Hannibal know whats wrong and he killed the one doc

I'm surprised Chilton survived that stuff, let alone decided to stay in the same line of work.

So, Hannibal wants to make Will a killer right?

I wouldn't think he'd want Will to take credit for his crimes since obviously he wants his own credit without being caught.

I forget, how has Fuller mapped the series out in relation to the books? Because I really see no need for it to expand beyond Red Dragon. The series should be Will and Hannibal's story.

He said he wants to have the last season (7?) be Will hunting Hannibal after the events of that novel.

Seem to recall season 4 was gonna be Red Dragon, 5 and 6 were gonna be Silence of the Lambs...

If I recall correctly, he said he hoped one of the later seasons would serve as his version of Silence of the Lambs. If he could not secure the rights to Clarice Starling, he would do so with his own iteration of the character. Here's to hoping the studio will allow for him to acquire the rights to Clarice and James Gumb.

it's not the studio...Lifetime has the rights to Clarice and James Gumb and was/is planning their own TV show on Silence of the Lambs....but they don't have the rights to Hannibal (sheesh I thought Marvel's rights situation was wild).

Lifetime is doing a Clarice Starling prequel series, so MGM doesn't want to give up the rights to the Silence characters. So if it gets to that point, and he couldn't talk MGM into letting him use the the characters, they'll probably just do another Franklyn Froideveaux / Benjamin Raspail character allusion.

Eh... I mean, the show is titled Hannibal, not Will Graham. But all the same, I'd rather it be confined to the Red Dragon part of the story.

nah I'd actually like to see what they do with all the books

As long as they do a better version of Red Dragon than what we've gotten in the past (I don't mind them but they could have been better), which so far I believe we would, I hope we at least reach that point.

I'm not really interested in seeing them re-enact The Silence of the Lambs, to be honest.

I think there are parts from the books that just would not work well on tv. I mean, how long does the stuff with Dollarhyde last even? That's what we should be talking about now is Dollarhyde casting.

I am more looking forward to the trial of Hannibal then he can drop the facade of normalcy he has been wearing. I can't wait to see people fainting in the courtroom after realizing they ate human flesh or Jack finding the killer of his trainee.

Yea I wanna see Jack's face when he realizes he was pouring his soul out about Miriam to the man who killed her and then tormented him with phone calls and left him her severed arm while giving him a sympathetic ear about it all.

Talk about feeling betrayed.

Any chances the season to end with the famous Will catching Hannibal, and next season we have Hannibal behind bars ala Silence of the Lambs?

I would say that I have no hope for Lifetime, but, they produced two of the more disturbing (and my personal favorite) horror films: the Cabin By the Lake duology.

Black comedy at its finest.

It would be great if the series could get Clarice and then actually re-imagine the events of Hannibal (the book). I was really disappointed that Ridley Scott changed the ending. I remember the last 80 pages or so being some of the most captivating material I'd ever read. The ending to that book was fantastic!
