This show is the reason for my existence, right now. Last night Episode was fantastic. Cannot wait to see how this season concludes. Been watching since day 1.

Only something really good could get me back to posting here. haha.

This, basically. :funny:

Wasn't that scene just everything? From the way it was shot to Lawrence and Caroline's performances! Just amazing all around.

Indeed.

God, the thought of Hannibal's showdown with Mason just arouses me. I need it to be every bit as brutally choreographed as Hannibal/Tobias and the Hannibal/Jack flashforward.

Love this.

Just like the Tobias fight, I want the build-up to elicit the reaction that Mason is ****ing with the wrong person, and he is in way over his head.

When Tobias pulled out that string whip, my reaction was "aw, you shouldn't have done that. You done ****ed up now!"

Internal monologue: "What is this, his bedroom? I'm gonna ****ing kill this kid."

Mason is the perfect little rich brat, that has entitlement issues and psychological drama.

that scene in the beginning of the episode where they hit that bird whole, it was disturbing. In a way, both were murderers for eating a living thing. You kinda see why people turn vegetarians. Oh well, i'm about to cook steak in a few hehe

Deadline mentioned today that each episode only costs them under $800,000 while other network dramas can cost $3,000,000 or more. That might be enough to get a fourth and fifth season.
how is that possible, the visuals and effects look amazing

Because they aren't the production company, so they aren't paying for the production of the show. They're just paying for the US Broadcast rights.

I'm predicting an increase in viewers for next season. I also think (hope) that NBC will consider giving Hannibal a better timeslot on a different night. They should really be pushing to make this show a staple for the NBC network.

I think at this point NBC will be keeping it on Fridays, 10/9c for 13 weeks of the year. NBC is going to focus on strengthening their lineup. More viewers to the network may lift most of the shows up a bit.

Given the low ratings of the show over two seasons NBC won't be testing it out on other nights when they know they can put on Chicago PD or Chicago Fire and get better numbers. Now maybe if Hannibal had a bigger lead in it could do better but NBC will be focusing on creating new and bigger hits with Allegiance, Constantine, Emerald City, The Mysteries of Laura, Odyssey and State of Affairs.

Their schedule just came out.

If this show never puts out a cookbook, I will be so furious. :o

Took the words right out of my mouth, Sawyer. Been saying that since day 1. The amount of puns in the recipe names will be a sight to behold

I am really surprised that Will actually ate human meat, though. I guess there was no way around it, but I was sure that there would be some type of explanation to keep him from actually taking that step. Dedication to the cause, I guess.

Did they explicitly say he voluntarily ate human meat, or are we just assuming he did because some people won't accept that Hannibal might have been tricked with pork or something?

If Will actually did eat human meat, I guess he figured he'd done it a few times already so what the hell.

I guess he just really wants to catch Hannibal.

It would be completely out-of-character for Hannibal to not be able to tell the difference between human and non-human meat.

His palette is WAAAAY too acute to not be able to tell what kind of meat he's eating.
