I need to see what the third season poster is going to look like. If it wasn't for the fact that the storyline is being held off until the second half of the season, I would think it might be Red Dragon-based. Now I don't know.

They seem to be playing up the Italy thing, so maybe it'll go the way of the whole renaissance schtick Hannibal loves so much. A little bit of William Blake wouldn't hurt either...as I recall, both Francis and Mason were big fans of Blake.

Rewatching the second to last episode in season 2. I love how outlandish the scenes with drugged Mason are, even compared to this show's usual brand of insanity.

Hmm, I would guess the periods of time would be 1) right after the events of Season 2, 2) A slight flashforward to when Will is on the hunt for Hannibal, 3) a period of time after Hannibal has been caught and 4) Hannibal's childhood or adolescent years.

I agree, though perhaps 3) would be at some point when Bedelia was still a practicing psychiatrist.

I just hope we can ditch the whole 'This is my design' catchphrase for a while. It gets kind of annoying watching him do those flashbacks all the time on a second viewing. I know he isn't with the FBI by that point but still the less flashbacks the better at least for a while.
