Ah, so once the Tournament of Power Saga hits Amazon Prime it'll be several seasons long? These 13-episode arcs are killing me.![]()
I loved the Goku Black/Zamasu arc.
I'm also assuming that Gogeta still isn't considered canon? Considering Goku and Vegeta opted to merge via earrings instead of doing the fusion technique to take down Zamasu.
I felt the Universe survival arc had its highs and lows but I felt most of it came because the length due to the slow pace. It felt like the older Z arcs where there some episodes that didn't have much happen or were just setup for the next episode. It was also more episodic than the usual DB arc but I think binging it could probably be the best way to watch although watching it live week to week was fun lol. There were great episodes and moments throughout the arc that made it worthwhile. Tho ill agree the finale was the best finale of an arc imo.
Now im just waiting for them to announce the sequel already...

Just got my review screener of Broly. Excited to dive in.
Seeing this in IMAX in a couple of weeks. Feeling pretty damn good about it.
The Tournament of Power is Episodes #77-131. It's the longest but also the worst arc in the series because of it's length. The production fell apart near the end and was only salvaged by Episode #130 and #131 using all of the series' best animators and directors.
I honestly thought Super's arcs were too long. Stretching two movies into twenty-seven episodes was way too much. The Champa arc was also about six or seven episodes too long. The best arc was the Gokuu Black arc but even then that lasted about two episodes too long and had way too much back-and-forth time travel.
Of course you would say that...ningen filth.
Early AM industry estimates are in showing that Funimation’s Dragon Ball Super: Broly had a super opening day with $7.06M at 1,250 venues leading all films at the box office, and overtaking STXfilm/Lantern’s The Upside for the day ($1.69M) and the fourth Wednesday of Warner Bros. Aquaman ($1.2M).
The Vegeta vs Broly fight might be one of the best animated scenes I have ever scene. The way they drew Vegeta was perfect.
Wonder if Super will have some episodes that are part of the Broly movie like they did with the other movies?
