The Dark Knight Dressing up for TDK

So far my gang of Midnight viewers will include:

Me as Joker, four friends in Clown Thug Masks, my brother as Riddler, two Harley Quinns, Mad Hatter and possibly Crazy Quilt.

I'm going with a motley crew of rogues: Me as Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, The Phantasm, Clock King, and a few henchmen! :D

All you crazy Jokers.

Someone needs to be the Bat.

Attending the premier with: One Joker (mua) three Harley Quinns, Two Poison Ivy's, one Two-Face, one Batgirl, one Robin, one GCPD SWAT officer, one Catwoman, Four Joker Goons, One Renee Montoya ala The Animated Series, one Wonder Woman. So 17 people in all. :brucebat:

Socks--do you want to dye your hair or spray it green? Hot Topic carried hair dye in crazy colors that will be be semi-permenant. You can also get hair color in green at Sally's Beauty supply (or any beauty supply store)

For temp hair color you can get the spray on color stuff they have at Halloween. Party stores should have it, my Walmart carries it year round in the card aisle.

You can also use lime Kool-aid to temporarily dye your hair.

As far as make up--- you can use black lipstick around your eyes (should be easy to find at wal-mart or someplace similar) It should be relatively easy to apply that way, too. Red lipstick as well. Just get the cheap $1 a tube stuff-- a dollar store probably would have it.

The real make-up is grease paint which you can get at a costume shop or possibly a party store. If you can't find it anywhere and you are desperate you can use white acryllic paint (the craft kind you can get in a small tube from a craft store or wal mart) Mix some of the pain with some face cream or lotion (otherwise the paint will crack on your skin when it dries) Paint your skin, let dry and then powder it with baby powder. Let it set then apply the black and red accents. DO NOT POWDER THEM.

It is best to leave the areas blank where you plan to put the black and red---meaning dont do them over white or you will get gray and pink at first.

I have green spray from last Halloween, when I dressed up as Joker. Umm.....I have the rest as well.

QUESTION:

WHERE CAN I GET A SHIRT (bATMAN ONE) AND JOKERIZE IT?! LIKE HOW SHOULD I JOKERIZE MY SHIRT?! ANYONE?!

Batto- your get-up is ALL KINDS of bad assery.

I wish I had the time/resources to get something together like that.

:applaud Well done, sir.

Thanks, Socks :word:

This is actually the first time I've been compelled to do this for a movie - not to mention actually going through with it :hehe:

Hopefully I'll be able to get some pics with make-up tomorrow or the next day, and the final version after my hair is dealt with.

Well it's comming along great; now are you just gettin' stuff for makeup and the hair or are you gonna go the full nine yards and attempt to do scars? :word:

Just focusing on the first two, yeah.

I don't think I have enough time to the the scars right, but I'm going to simulate the effect by drawing in the slight shading and such so that they look like they're there anyway.

Now that's an interesting way of doin' it; you gonna draw on the wory wrinkles on your forehead and around he cheeks and eyes too? :word: :brucebat:

my boyfriend and I are going all out :woot:

we both bought some of the tdk merch and just jokerized it all....and of course, I'm going for a more Harley look with pigtails and make-up

not to mention the window markers we picked up from wallie-mart the other day so we can jokerize my car!!!

I'll be sure to post pics!
