"Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home" with Danny McBride

Oh wow, really? I had no idea. I need to watch it again. It's been years and years.

You know what would be great? If Bindi Irwin shows up and totally humiliates him.

Also Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life should cameo. That was the sterotypical Aussie during my school days, and we had one Aussie dude in our high school that we called Rocko. All in good fun of course. :o

I had actually totally forgotten it existed until it was brought up in light of the "lost son" angle this movietisement was going with. I don't think I ever saw it though maybe parts of it.

There's an interview with one of the writers of Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles discussing how the film came to be and how Paul Hogan fought to get sole writing credit. Pretty hilarious.

I think the real reason they made this was because Steve Irwin was becoming super popular at the time. Collision Course came out the following year.

Surprised they couldn't rope in Cate Blanchette.

Oh, Hugh Jackman's in there too :D

LOL, literally every Australian on the planet is in on the joke.

Maybe it turns out like Machete where the idea catches on so much they actually do make a movie.

The funniest thing to me is that pretty much every Australian is in it except for Paul Hogan.

Worthington and Courtney should just be mentioned by name but never considered. Just awful, awful individuals.

Also got Russel Crowe.

Crowe vs Jackman, please.

This is already the most anticipated whatever it is of 2018.

If you were to get the exact talent together in this tourism campaign into an actual Aussie based comedy/adventure film you'd be able to sell it to North Americans. Just about every actor in this campaign is liked over there, just need to add in Cate Blanchette and Geoffrey Rush.

Margot Robbie, Hugh Jackman, Chris Hemsworth, Russell Crowe and Danny McBride...now I see why this cost as much as a real movie.

It honestly amazes me how you can get so many talented people together and this is the result. I don't care if its a tourism ad or a Superbowl spot its still not funny and looks like a pretty big waste of money IMO.

Oh yay Jess Mauboy, I adore her!

Well, at least we know this is a marketing campaign now. Maybe that's the next thing we should have a public vote on? Making this movie actually happen

Should get Eric Bana in there too, playing uncle Chop Chop

I kind of want to see this really be made now, lol
