DVD/Box Set Discussion

Any reason why they aren't putting bloopers for the past seasons on the DVD's???

I think it was just one of those things they thought they didnt need to include.

Supernatural is much more solemn show yet they include bloopers. I don't get why Smallville can't. Also, they should seriously lighten the show up. Sometimes I get depressed after watching an episode...

Has anyone seen this? DI user Christine is responsible for spotting this from somewhere.

Personally, I think that it's a awesome poster, though too bad that the actual fight doesn't live up to the hype

Isnt that pic of Clark from when he was in the Phantom Zone in the beginning of Season 6? He didnt have the scratch over his eye when he went back there with Lois last season.

So I've been trying to do a Smallville marathon by watching the entire series so far starting with the pilot. I've seen the first four episodes already and I can't help but notice the huge difference between the first season and the most recent one. I think the tone of the series is the most blatant difference. The old episodes still hold their own, IMO. Clark actually cracks jokes! I don't think I've seen him smile that much in season 8. I really hope they lighten up the tone for season 9.

yea they lost that smiley/jokey clark around 3rd season and we only seen him do jokey stuff once in a great while. Season 3-now they all been pretty dark seasons, and they keep on forgetting supes is the light fun hero and bats is the dark, broody hero. Hopefully we can find a better balance in season 9. But that post was pretty cool.

There was a cosmic collision? Did I miss an episode?

I assume that was a misprint and they meant to say Comic Collision

Because the fight in the finale was a joke :woot:....:cmad:...:csad:

What more can be said than Eye of the Tiger. I would love to see something from the Smallville cast like this. There has to be funny bloopers caught on film that they could show us at the end of an episode.

The Eye of the Tiger was such a treat. But I don't see Welling doing something like that anytime. :csad:

Well hopefully the producers see how pissed we fans were of a lack of a decent dd/clark fight in the finale so we can something between with zod/metallo hopefully.

This poster is very misleading

Cosmic Collision my ass, the confrontation between Doomsday vs. Clark was any but cosmic . It was a joke a real joke . :cmad:

I'm not saying something exactly like the Eye of the Tiger, I mean something along the lines of one of the actors just cuting up and doing something funny and/or stupid.

More like a a big fat fist to the mouth of fans.

well, today is the Smallville panel @ Comic-Con. Let's hope we'll hear what the actors thought of it.

why thank you WB, don't mind if I do screencap that metropolis landscape. Might come in handy LOL

that video about doomy shows everything, the producers don't have a clue. 'a glamourous description' please!

I'm already going to say that if S9 doesnt have Zod on the cover, I'm going to be pissed.

Am I misunderstanding or does it read like the Blu Ray set has the same image on each disc and the dvd set has different artwork on each disc?
Correct. Blu-ray discs just repeat the Lois and Clark cover, while the DVDs show the members of the cast.
