Well I'll get it regardless, because I'm bound to Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. But I really hope they don't go the route of the Wii.

Ah. Didn't know if any other developers had a conference. Thanks. Still just with Nintendo having such a big announcement I'll expect it'd still be an exciting day.

I think Nin is going to try to bring back the Hardcore crowd with this console. I think we will see a lot of the Nin mainstays like Mario, Metroid etc.; but we will also see some of hardcore games. I would not be surprised to see Rockstar, Bioware, and/or Valve on stage today.

Other than games, I am most looking forward to pricing, if they give us one, on the the new console. I think price point will be key for them.

Man to imagine Metroid with uber graphics makes me so stoked.

I say $299 price for the nintendo should be a good price, depending on just how much the system itself can compare to a PS3 and 360.

I think it will be higher, maybe $350.00-$399.99. It really depends on the controller tech and the systems innards.

Nintendo can't afford to go higher than $350. Not when the PS3 and 360 offer so many more features and have more games.

I'm going with my "250-300" feeling. It may have a new controller and whatnot but Nintendo can't release this thing for 400 bucks... No way. They already took a hit sales wise due to pricing the 3DS way to high, I just can't see them doing the same for the Nintendo HD, more so when you KNOW a 360/PS3 price drop is coming.

It was actually smart on both Microsoft and Sony's part to not announce a price drop at their conferences. Give Nintendo time to name the price, if it's 350+ expect announcements from both Sony and Microsoft within the next few days on a price drop.

Early 2012 is the best move for Nintendo. That way it's still early enough for them to get launch titles such as Sonic Generations, Modern Warfare 3, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, etc. And Nintendo needs a high quality launch line-up, none of that ******** that Sony and Microsoft gave us with their launch lineups.

What's up with this "My body is ready"?

Hoho... Sessler doesn't think the controller will have a screen on it due to 3DS.... Which, he has a point.

That was an excellent point against the screen rumor which I'm surprised no one has brought up yet.

Both have a touch screen function for play? The 3DS is struggling to sell? It's a totally valid point.
