My main issue with the RE7 trailer was that it really didn't feel like anything RE. I know, some feel the series has been like that for awhile, but even the newer style of games have a certain feel to them, from the environment to the aesthetic. That looked entirely different, looked like something you'd expect from Silent Hill, until the very end. It just doesn't feel right at all, but like I said, I am open to it. And the trailer may not truly represent what the game will look like.

This was a VR showcase though; of course it was going to be different. Id wai to see what the normal experience looks like first

I am watching with my brother. He thought it was Silent Hills or The Evil Within 2. We were utterly shocked when they said Resident Evil. Haven't been that shocked in a while by actual footage. You can usually guess.
