im torn, because emma is my favorite character, and not just out of the x-men, but they need a dam good director with dam good actors and a dam good writer, cos if its another daredevil, elektra, punisher, must i go on? everything about those movies was horrible, the only real successful movies of a lone superhero would have to be blade and spider-man but he doesnt count cos everyone and their dog knows who spiderman is, hulk was ok but not great, im probably missing someone here, but emma is a great character with alot to give they just need to do it right and no stupid ass costumes, *elektra* dont make the character something shes not *elektra* and dont get the girl next door to play one of the biggest b!tches in marvel history *elektra*

I like Emma too...The first time I saw her I was like 6 or 7 in the FOX cartoon X-MEN... and Jean went to the Hellfire's Club....Good Days..I loved that cartoon!! anyways yeah Emma Frost is cool actually alot of people may know her than we think. You dont have to be Comic book reader to know who she is...She is on the X-men Legends games...sooo that made her a little more popular .
I've been asking around about this director and alot of people said he was really good and they liked his movies...So it looks like Emma is getting a good director which is good

Russell is a much better and smarter director than all 3 of those movies directors combined. Some directors like to actually be challenged and attempt something even if others have failed doing so, instead of making mediocre dumb-fanboy red meat.

as much as you think gambit has a fan base because youre part of it, he has an even bigger hater base, not only has emma reached some sort of status starting with gen x, shes gone on to be in other popular titles in new and astonishing x-men and her own mini series, she actually has a very complex and real personality whether it makes you hate her or love her, you cant deny her that, gambit is just a cyclops, wolverine re-hash, which is exactly why he was never in any of the movies, and youre all forgeting that emma has been in a movie even before wolverine or any of the x-men youve seen in the movies today, well except jubes, they were both in a gen x movie, i do agree to some degree, becuase she was never introduced it will be harder to sell, but ill go see it even if it sucks

Three Kings wasn't a bad movie, but I still think an Emma movie is a mistake. She's not that popular a character, and mainstream public aren't going to know who she is.

Who should play her? In her heyday I would have said Rebecca Demornay.

I agree with you 3Kings wasn't a bad movie but IMO it wasn't a great movie either. The Rush Hour movies were actually rather entertaining but I don't think they were credential enough for Brett to have tackled X3 given the expectations many of us held for it after the first two as well as the history the franchise has had with Fox.
