The action was great, but the is kinda lame.
I think this is the last continuity movie

I don't know what to think. I see the tomato meter, I see some reviewers online that I trust raving over this movie. It gets me so hyped. Then I come in here expecting to see lots of hype, and what I see is mixed. I'm feeling now like I should lower my expectations

I'm slightly with you on this. It's killed off some of the excessive excitement that quickly built up after those original critic Tweets hit. I'm seeing it in about 3 1/2 hours and not as pumped as before. That is a good thing though. I can sit back and relax and let the story unfold without being too eager for it to hit any kind of high level expectations.

Don't. You won't be disappointed.

I wouldn’t worry what people think about it here. It should be all about you and your own experience. People have different barometers for movies especially in a forum where the majority is very well versed with and passionate about comics vs the general movie goers in which the movies are their sole contact with comic materials (myself included for the most part). Now I see complaints about science in a superhero movie. Well, about that .....

God I hope not. Those Star Wars fans are toxic as hell, especially the ones who just hate it for the political/agenda reasons.

This is a problem both ways. Their opinions are just as valid to them. How people choose to react to them is on them. Undermining the opinions of others is just as toxic imo.

It's been a problem on this board for years. Minority and negative opinions are marginalized, invalidated, and at times, insulted. It's why I hardly post anymore.

I've outgrown the MCU by my tastes, and probably won't see any more of them in theaters after End Game. I'm way more excited for Godzilla. That said, I appreciate what the MCU has done, and the joy it brought me over the years. I've grown tired of the formula, and Disney's blueprint in these movies. And that's fine. MCU is still a historic franchise.

I'm sure I'll enjoy Endgame, and for parts of it I may not enjoy, for the above reasons, there should be nothing wrong with expressing that here. But minority posters feel there is, no validation.

Well I have to take some of these with a grain of salt. Someone rated it "absolute garbage". Seriously ? :loco:

Wow. That's harsh. It wasn't perfect IMO but got a lot more right than wrong and did a great job with the characters mostly
Hawkeye losing his family was an incredibly strong opening, Hawkeye becoming a sword swinging psychopath with a ridiculous hairstyle seemed a bit OTT but I guess they needed some kind of arc for him

I rated this film a 4/5. Very good.

I might change my mind on a second watch - but I suspect I'll enjoy it more rather than less.

I'm really shocked at some of the average reviews here. This to me, was an epic conclusion. I would still rate Infinity War higher but this was an amazing sendoff for the original Avengers. I'd rate it 8.5/10. Infinity War is a 9.

Epic . Emotional roller coaster and a perfect end to the series.

First act is a 9
Second act 7.5
Third act - speechless. No words or numbers can do it justice. Just one huge love letter to the fans.

10/10 movie. Had a blast.

I'm somewhat heartened to know I wasn't the only one who had issues with the film. I assumed the poll would be significantly more in favour of Perfection. The spread is actually interesting.

Ending Question
first of all , how do you use spoiler tag , I cant find a FAQ page anywhere

It's big, fun and dumb, but it should have been divided into two movies.

What I wish they had done differently-
When Thor transformed, I wish he would have had the helmet (even if it were CGIed for safety).
The OBE scene should have been the end of Prof. Hulk-bro.
Hulk should have gotten his comeback fight against Thanos without the power stone. Hulk got fridged.

What next-
I can't tell if it's all winding down over the next five years before a full reboot or not. Captain America could be rejuvenated (we saw one way with the time van to make someone young again) and Iron Man could be resurrected after absorbing so much cosmic power into himself and the nanos (or could return in AI form). I don't want to see Doctor Doom brought into the MCU without Captain America and Iron Man.

Just got out, was alot to take in. I'd say 8.5.
Lots of good with a few nitpicks.
I loved cap and I.M.
Thor and Hulk kinda got short changed, especially Hulk.

The Epic battle at the end had the crowd cheering.
And oh, Bring tissues also.

Just got out of the movie
ABSOLUTE PERFECTION
This movie was sorta like DMC5 to me, which is a game that has been 10yrs in the making and pure fan service.

Also as a huge THoR fan, I am very happy with the way he was portrayed in the movie

I remember back in 2008 when I was a freshman in high school and my friends were saying how Iron Man is a one-and-done kinda movie, as they were running the TDK hype train, while I had a fool's vision that came to fruition today.

I never thought infinity war's action scenes would get stale but then endgame happened

The first two acts are OK...just...OK.

The last act is full of great spectacle and fan service moments, and is the only part of the film I feel the desire to rewatch.

There are some good sendoffs, and ok sendoffs, and certain key characters who don't get a meaningful sendoff at all.

To be honest, I'm kinda baffled by both the percentage and Avg rating this has on RT, but different strokes.

All in all...its the superhero film version of Return of the Jedi. Not an offensive way to say bye to some of these characters, but there are parts of the movie that aren't all that engaging. Upon first viewing, this is not a movie I'd rewatch in its entirety.

7/10, mainly for the last act.

It was okay. I thought the acting was great, especially RDJ and Evans. Other than that, I was pretty disappointed with the plot and the endings of Tony and Steve. I prefer Infinity War tbh.

Ending Question

Can someone explain how Ant-Man's daughter ended up being 5 years older , but Peter Parker was still in High School ?
