Warcraft Concedes To Star Wars: Episode VII, Moves Release Date To 2016

Well, we probably could have seen this coming. Duncan Jones’ Warcraft has moved off its original December 18, 2015 release date, conceding it never had a shot against Star Wars: Episode VII, and has moved to March 11, 2016 instead.

I really think Mission Impossible 5 will move eventually once the time is right.

I think Paramount will be looking to see if Hollywood truly does cannibalize each other that year; that and the Star Wars teaser, trailers and hype will probably scare them off.

It's a weird passive aggressive move on Paramont's part, since both films are under JJ Abrams.
