Fox has alot to gamble with here. They need a new franchise badly since X-Men 3 is suppose to be the last X-men. With trilogies like Pirates. and Narnia for disney. Harry Potter and Batman for Warner Brothers and Spiderman for Sony. Fox needs to make this really good for they need a new trilogy to keep up with the rest. As much as i like FF its likely to e an x-men trilogy for Fox.
Eragon mat seem to be taking long for a trailer. Fox has to be scared to death over how the dragon will look. I think they should do this. Take a good look at the Reign Of Fire dragons only soften the demenor a bit and make Saphire talk mentally not by mouth. For another Dragonheart is what we need.

Well i think most people when they invisioned the character. They pictured someone like Judy Dench or some seasoned actress to play her. For she is not young in the books.

I don't remember the book ever stating an age or what she actually looked like. She said in the book that she is much older than she looks and she is a witch, so she could make herself look young when she's actually old.

Eragon off "A Plane"

Bad news folks - Fox has yet again pushed the release date for their tralier debut off of Snakes on a Plane (a relief to some). Because this seems to have become a pattern with the Eragon movie trailers, we will no longer be reporting trailer release dates in any sort of serious way.

We have however heard from our Fox contact that the trailer has been pushed to Invicible, which releases a week later. Please know that this entire trailer situation is out of our control and that we only post what we're told. With this in mind, we would advise taking any trailer release as only a 50/50 until we get one-hundred percent confirmation.

Makes you wonder what they are hiding,i mean they may be touching up the CGI but really they should have enough finished product of a quality level to release a trailer by now

I just love how us non movie making experts can weigh in on what a movie should do or how fast it should be made. I for one would rather they work hard on a film and take there time in order to get it right. Then to hastily put out a movie with a bad trailer. My problem here is that everyone is hung up on seeing a trailer to a movie not do out until December.

Eragon has alot more pressure here then people think. I mean dragon movies have not done to well in the past. Do to movies such as Dungeons and Dragons, and Dragonheart. I mean a good looking cgi dragon is not easy that talks. The hold up hast to be Saphire a blue dragon that talks. If any of you can make a realistic blue dragon that can talk without looking like a big puppet then please do help Fox.
