Error Code (aka The Great PSN Easter Outage of 2011) - Part 1

5 Hours? Sheesh. Couldn't they have split it up over the few days of the convention?

Like I said in the E3 thread, I think the actual conference will be 2-2.5 hours and the remaining time is for the special event planned for the attendees.

I wonder what the "special event" is going to be?

I bet it is NGP related, like the 3DS play time they got last year.

Okay. I attempted to sign on it told my password was out dated. But it never let me change it. It just gave me an error code. I went to reset my password on PSN, but they've not sent me any emails.

They were doing maintenance today. Have you tried in the last hour?

So do you think they got better games than we did here in the US or Europe?

No way. US/EU got better games but you have to rememebr thats a completely different market. I think those games might appeal to an Asian audience more than a western one. I dont have Trashbox, Echrochrome or Hustle Kings so I'll be picking those up

I would take echochrome over SSHD or Dead Nation. Mainly because I already have those games, lol.

I just cant wait til the store comes back up so I can do a quick playthru of infamous before the sequel comes out

So what are the chances that Sony will keep their 'word' and have the store up tomorrow?

They have to... they just do. Even if they're a day late people won't believe anything they say again, lol.

Still no news so...slim, I guess.

Oh joy. More hacking on the way.

LulzSec, which has previously taken responsibility for hacking Sony BMG’s Japanese website, has promised more attacks against Sony soon. “Phase 1 will begin within the next day,” the LulzSec twitter feed read just before announcing the PBS hack, following up on its warning from Friday: “We’re working on another Sony operation…it’s the beginning of the end for Sony.”

I sincerely hope their use of the terms "lulz" and "all your base are belong to us" are being used ironically. Because they're about as insufferable as "epic win" and "pwn".

Still... as terrible as it would be... I have to admit that I would laugh my ass off if they hacked Sony's E3 press conference.

I was on Home a couple days ago, everything seems to be A ok so far.

Oh joy. More hacking on the way.

Now that would be funny:funny:

What's even the ****ing point in continuing this ****? All they manage to do is to piss off the consumers even more. Are they deliberately trying to encourage people to find out where they live, so they can get punched in the face?

Why does anyone do anything stupid? Frankly, they probably don't care if they get caught, because they'll forever be known as the ones to crack a conglomerate's business model, jail time or no.

I wonder if they are still proud of that after someone beat them up or made them their b**ch.
