But yeah, I don't see what the problem with "negro" is. I don't use it, because I know people will be insulted, but I see no point. I mean, "n****r" has negative cannotations. But I'm pretty sure "negro" is still an anthropological term, e.g. "The skull shows negroid features." Fairly neutral if you ask me.

it hits close to home for people, no biggie...i think people are perhaps scared of racial regression all the way back to ***** although the term has hence been elevated away from it's old term. I mean anyone can buy a cd now and hear all sorts of racial abuse being yanked down your throat. I sometimes wonder if there were lyrics about shooting white folks whether or not it would be treated as some sort of race crime.


I also find strange how the term ****** is accepted, in eminem's 'I am' song, they leave out the word **** (other word for poo) but leave in Wigga and broadcast it. But to know what a wigga is, one needs to know what a ***** is to get the reference and it's giving messages that it's all ok.

Personally i think there's nothing with a person acting 'urban' regardless of their race, it's not a 'black' thing anymore.

oh and for the record, using countries to describe skin tone colours is by far the stupidest thing i have ever heard.

next time someone asks you where you're from, try and use a colour to get your message across to get an idea of just how ridiculous it is.
