Spidey swung into the final battle with his triumphant theme playing and the crowd was cheering? :D

I sure did, only it got spoiled by the American Flag pass-by and the lousy reporter, aside from that, it was a great moment. My only other wish is that they had an actual suit-up moment when he pulled out the original costume.

It was awesome, but the music wasn't awe inspiring enough, you know? The perfect example of what I wanted to hear was in Spider-man 2,when he's swinging through the city to meet with Ock at the clock tower.

Why do people hate the flag?! They're in all 3 films and no one complained until the third film.

At the end of the first one he swings up to that flagpole and lands on it with the American flag in all its glory.

Weren't they in the background at the end of the second film?

It's just...normal looking to me. Spider-Man belongs in front of the American flag sometimes. It looks so cool.

The flag's use in the other two films was alright, because it wasn't emphasized. It was put there casually.

However, in SM3, where they have him land in a quick moment of slow-mo, and how the flag takes up the whole screen, it's just ridiculous, imo. It's funny to me, the shot would've done better without it.
