With Earths being destroyed, I wonder how they are going to deal with 38 being merged/destroyed. Supergirl is the only separate Earth that we see full time and we can't go through COIE with it surviving.

I assume it will end up with Earth-1 and Earth-38 being merged, and the ramifications of that will be minimized with nothing huge changing for our heroes except now they don't need dimension-hopping tech to go see each other.

Which is both understandable and sucks since it is such a big event. For SG they really should make sure that we see some E1 villains/heroes pop up in the 2nd half while everyone else can use this as an excuse to bring back some dead characters.
