How tall is Schneider?

Some sites say 6'3", some say 6'4". If I ever get the chance to stand next to him, I'll try to remember to bring a tape measure. :)

But then, if I ever get the chance to stand next to him, I probably won't even remember my own name, let alone a tape measure. :D

I agree.

In those WB interviews he says that he is 6'3". However, there are some places that say he is 6'4" but he says his 6'3" because of clothing measurements or something.

I think he's 6'4"... he's got at least an inch on JS and he's said that he's 6'3".

He's huge, no matter what the actual measurement is.

LOLOLOLOL!!! Um, ladies, Gina's talking about standing next to Schneider, not Welling. :D :D :D

:D

I understand. Some of us [raises hand] just have one-track minds. ;)

For father and son shots, here's an oldie but a goodie...

Really! Hmmm..

I dont need to tell you who I would rather stand next to. :D

I think JS is a reeeallly good looking man. There were pictures taken of him in person at last year's Metropolis celebration by TW4S. I'll have to see if I can rummage them up. JS looked a lot younger and more handsome in person, IMO.

I was just at Target, and I saw the funniest shirt in the women's department. It was an old pic of JS from his Dukes days, big blonde hair and all, and it said.. (shoot, I don't remember).. something cutesy though. It cracked me up to see Pa Kent on a t-shirt looking all youthful and hot. :)

I couldnt believe that they had Dukes of Hazzard costumes (JS version) available for Halloween at Target.

When I first started watching Smallville I would look at John Schneider and think that he would have to be the best looking man, in his 40's on television. And he still is, I just think overall Tom Welling is better. :)

Now those are pretty damn iconic.

This episode should be really great...I recently got to see a few of the Tom Wopat scenes (a perk from working at a tv station...YAY promotional material!! i feel so...privileged. :) ) and I totally geeked out. And for the first time in...well maybe ever, it wasn't directly comic book related.

Dukes is cool...

Lucky you! I can't wait. :D

I really think JS is tons better-looking now than when he was young. I first saw him as Jonathan and didn't see any of "Dukes" till later, so maybe that explains it. But then, some men just get better with age!

Welling's cute and all, and I understand why so many women go for him, but to my mind, he's just too boyish still. Give him a few years, and we'll see. :) (Ducks hail of rotten eggs and tomatoes and runs like the dickens)

LOL!!!! :D

You're cool, Gina. Don't sweat it. Dif'rent strokes for dif'rent folks.

I think Welling's larger eyes and shorter chin will forever give him a more youthful appearance, which, considering his profession, can't be all that bad a thing. That said, I also think the SV folks have completely lost the battle with Mother Nature. He may have gotten away with looking like a teenager when he was 24, but at 28 and a good 20 or so extra pounds, it's all down hill from here. LOL

GAH!!! Yes, yes it was. LOL I get those two titles mixed up All. The. Time. I'm fixing it now. Gonna rename the file too so I don't keep making that mistake. The corrected one is simply "vortex.jpg," so your last post is going to show a broken link momentarily. Thanks for the correction, MJZ!! :D

Granted, the lighting is different, but I still think they are coloring Clark's hair a few shades lighter than it was in previous seasons. It used to be a lot more "black" looking, but it's almost medium brown now.

Could be lighting. Could be dye. Could be natural bleaching from the sun over the summer. Could just be a slight but natural change in hair color over time. Could be how it's styled - has it been tamed or is it his usual mess? (LOL!)

I dunno.

I was prepping this panel for another purpose - gee, whatever could Pat be working on? :p - but you can see in the top and bottom rows how his hair color changes depending on setting. And these pictures only span approximately one year...

Thanks, Pat. You're a sweetie. :)

I really think Tom looks more age-appropriate now than he did four years ago. It's easier to believe that a 28-year-old looks 18 than to believe a 24-year-old looks 14 or 15. Easier for me, anyway.

Yeah, true.

I loved JS when I was a kid and watched The Dukes of Hazard.

He was like it.

He's still a very good looking man. He's certainly aged well, the same cannot be said for Tom Wopat.

Hey, for those who get the CMT station, I'm told they aired an "Exposed" preview and Schneider/Wopat interview today. It re-airs three times tomorrow (12:30 am, 11 am, and 11 pm EST).
