Fabian Wagner is the cinematographer.

yup i agree 100% BVS cinematography made the world feel small and very sound stage like where man of steel was very sweeping, grounded and real

Oh, now you guys like how MoS looked?

I blame all the dumb articles for the change. I just remember stupid videos like "what if MOS was in color"

Very annoying times.

The funny thing about that video is that they actually desaturated the Man of Steel footage just to prove a point.

Oh yea, their lime green grass as well as the neon blue-green/black stripped zebras are definitely the natural colors you'd find in the Sahara.

It's odd that the shadows on the mountain in the background are blue.

It's like all of a sudden there's a new appreciation for MoS

Of course there is. It's always like this.

I've always appreciated MOS and have found the cricism/outrage directed toward it to be overblown. And now, after seeing BVS, the MOS hate looks even more silly to me.

you can tell snyder was reigned in likely by nolan with the visual look of the film

given free reign bvs looks like sucker punch again

Man of Still is a beautiful film, one of my favorites amongst the CBM genre.

My CBM cinematography top 5:
1. The Dark Knight (natural colors, detail, contrast)
2. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (mood, IMAX footage is striking, interior shots)
3. The Dark Knight Rises (aesthetic, mood, light, but crushed blacks is a disappointment for this kind of style)
4. Batman Begins (very recognizable with it's yellow and black palette, strong images)
5. Man of Steel (a bit dry, stylish, frosty, pretty on exterior footage)

I wonder how it will be different from MoS and BvS...

Not spoiling the latest episode of Game of Thrones here.... but Holy Moly was this latest episode a beautifully shot masterpiece of art by Cinematographer Fabian Wagner.

I honestly can't wait to see what Fabian brings to the table for the Justice League, seriously love or hate what the films doing i am actually kinda stoked to seeing the cinematography of Justice League.

Cinematography for Man of Steel and BvS were all good.. It showed how unique both films were.. It also showed a progressive colour change in everything. BvS was brighter for Superman stuff.. JL is going to be much more brighter and visually different than both BvS and MOS.
I hope they go with the handheld style of motion like they did in MOS again for the MOS sequel though. Except I don't want the dark contrast, it should be colourful and brighter though sticking with the artistic look of MOS.

I want to see more iconic imagery for Superman, so far, all movies and TV series had done a great job, I want it to continue..

Battle of the Bastards was probably the most visually stunning episode of television I've ever seen. Unreal.

The BRIGHT GREEN African savanna is also rather suspect. The people behind that video were so full of s*** it was hilarious.
Agreed with everyone that thought MoS looked fine, loved the way that movie looked for the most part

And having just seen GoT tonight, glad to know the cinematography for JL is in good hands. Loved his work on Sherlock as well.

The worse part was the people who thought they were legit!

Does anyone have screencaps or gifs from this last GOT episode? No spoilers of course
