Bethseda announced today plans to create downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas. The first of the new DLC will be hitting the Marketplace during the holiday season and will be exclusive to the Xbox 360. It is unclear if the first bit of DLC is only exclusive or if all the DLC is exclusive, but there is some exclusivity!
This announcement comes with very little details, except the announce of DLC and that it will be exclusive. There were no details how much DLC there will be, tentative dates for release, or details about said DLC.
I have it. I like the sound it makes when I reload.http://blogs.canoe.ca/loadthis/gene...-tips-hat-to-indy-star-wars-and-blade-runner/
Just found this article, and there's also a Blade Runner easter egg in New Vegas, Decard's gun. Although, the update in the article says it's a reference to a gun from Fallout, and Fallout 2 as a reference to Decard's gun.
For the life of me I can't figure out what this is not an expansion to FO3. Same engine, same graphics, minimal changes to gameplay, no real story advancement the list goes on. I'm still going to play it and like it but calling this a "new" fallout is lame. I'm calling it right now next fallout whichever may be next Gen will be set in the annexed Canada!
Oh yeah! I got my NCR Ranger Combat Armor!! Found a veteran ncr ranger roaming around...needless to say, he wont be walking anymore.
Anyone playing this on a PC / Steam yet? Wondering how the port is working.

Just finished and sided withMr. House as I preferred his "enlightened autocracy" to the NCR's idea of just recreating the corrupt governmental systems of the old world and the Legion's outright domination. I mulled over Yes Man's plan but I thought better to leave the power in his hands as House seems to actually have a vision for the future of the human race.
I really liked this game and probably ended up preferring its world/story to Fallout 3's.
I'm enjoying this far more than Fallout 3.
Alot of RPG's to a terrible job of letting you be bad but Vegas seems to do a pretty good job in that regard. In the opening quest I helped to residents defend against the bandits collecting fellows to help like a certain Akira Kurosawa film then killed them all and got there loot. Fallout 3's opening had an invincible Liam Neeson oblivion to the fact you were knocking him out because he was integral to the not very well told plot. The very low res textures are anoying though. It's going to need some texture packs though, the textures are terrible.
