Yeah, we read that the first time you posted it, before you deleted it... for the sake of posting it again. Got it.

Hmmmmmm...

Very interesting.

Oh am I too late for the Crush hate?

They sure do partner up with some quality productions.

I do like all the different colors that Crush has. It makes the pop section in the grocery market very colorful.

You people are so rude....

*stomps out of the thread and heads over to Kroger to buy out all of their Crush products*

Food marketing for movies is always awkward lol. Never forget those ranch meat boxes with Avengers stickers. Also DOFP Carl's Jr. ads. Yikes.

Cherry Crush is a quality product. Shame on anyone who thinks otherwise. Bunch of haters, not even giving Crush a chance. Just because Fant4stic didn't choose a more appropriate beverage tie-in...

I saw an advanced test screening of Fantastic Four. There's not much I can say, but I liked it. The movie takes the source material seriously but the heart and personality of the team is prevalent, and the actors gave great performances. Michael B. Jordan is the standout. Doom was better then I expected.

Sounds encouraging. Thanks!

Can you comment regarding how you were able to get into the screening?

... i didnt give it a chance way before this haha

I missed the crush and now all I'm left with is Kitty Piddle and Dog Drool. :o

"Michael B Jordan, what is your response to fans who do not think the Human Torch should be shilling cheap carbonated beverages?"

"They'll drink it anyway"

Does this mean if Johnny had an ugly sister, he'd tell Reed "You'd hit it anyway"? :o

With no Marvel merchandising, I wonder does Fox try and promote this thing with joint partners like Mcdonald's or Burger King. Are they even allowed to do so? If they, does Marvel get all the profits with the other partner?

They can do a fast food deal (hence the DoFP toys at Hardee's). The thing about those "partnerships" is that they consist of the film studio paying a large sum of money to the fast food chain to use the fast food chain as advertising. It's not merchandise, in the sense that the toys don't make Fox money in and of itself. That comes out of the films marketing budget. They're promotional items.

Dang! So Fox is screwed either way huh? If they try and use Walmart, then they will go over their budget and lose money(yes, even more)so they really can't.

At this point, their promotional budget and partnerships are probably locked in. We'll see what kind of stuff they do.

... walmart merch (non food) is liscensed merch... so they cant even produce that.

Also I'm gonna track down a Cherry Crush. Orange is pretty good and superior to Sunkist imo

Technically they could use Walmart as a promotional partner, though. They could make a deal to get employees in Fant4stic shirts when the home release comes out (that one AC/DC album did a promotion with Wal-Mart like that). They could probably also sell actual tickets for the film there, like Man of Steel did.

I don't like soda anyway. They all feel like they're going to rot your teeth. They should provide a free toothbrush and toothpaste with it.

Yep, I am now no longer drinking sodas either. I pretty much stick with water or bai5.

Fanta is the best orange soda anyway.

Mountain Dew Livewire is also good.

Crush gives me heart burn and makes me feel gross.

yes they could... but then they'd be marketing to wal-mart customers and flavored soda drinkers... next up trailer park billboards and add placements at Golden Corral..... they'd really be hitting a niche demographic...
