We've already told you and given proof, it was from mid January to early May at minimum.

And why would he tweet that he was currently doing reshoots if it was pushed back? You're reaching farther than Mr Fantastic now...

Because he was told after he put ou the tweet....

He was actively working on the reshoots when he put the tweet out. Please stop, it's just getting sad now.

One report (that you won't believe, so not linking, heavily discussed at one time though) reported rumors that the reshoots took so long because they had to be done on weekends. Even with just weekends though, that adds up to way more than four days. They were also unplanned, according to this report (hint, it was a trade), and required Kinberg to fly in from the Apocalypse set.

Oh please. Like C.Lee said, you want proof? Go back and read the other closed threads. You'll find your proof there. To simply come here and act like people here are spewing bullshut without any facts is very flame baity.

I am going to make a prediction right now. FF will actually be one of the surprise hits of the summer. I am taking any and all bets. :o

I'll bet you $100 Internet dollars that a cheap, star-free rights grab that bears no resemblance to the classic source material, is a reboot of a failed franchise, was directed by someone clearly in over their head, had major unplanned reshoots, has a grim and gritty tone that is wildly inappropriate for the subject matter, and lost 3-D due to lack of studio confidence is going to do exactly as it is currently trending. It will flop.

You just won the internet Today Sir. That was beautifully written and just explained this whole production in a paragraph.

You were right on the not believing part , but it's not because it's not proof but because as you said in your recollection in t that it is a rumor ... So the fact you'd use it as proof is ... Kind of hurts it's proof status. Also if you're going to present proof just present it

I'm not acting like people are spewing ******** I'm questioning what is believed to be wrong with this film and how some of these things don't really prove the massive reshoots part of the equation.

Yeah guys, two actors that worked on the film saying reshoots lasted for months because they were working on them is no proof at all!:whatever:

Who are these two actors because Tim never says the reshoots have been going on for months and the stunt double may have had his shooting pushed back.

Good grief you're desperate.

He was actively working on reshoo on Jan 15. You cat push back something you're already working on. He didn't wrap until late March. Nelson later confirmed the had been dong April reshoots that were planed into May.

You know if you really wanted to embarrass yourself you could do a cheesy video on youtube...

Actually you can if say an actor isn't available and or location is double booked I read the Nelson reshoots article just now and he says "I'm doing them next week" no comment or context on how long they're going or if this is just a few pick up shots.

Also I'm bored at work (security work ) so I'm not really that desperate

And as the net result, all who supported the flop from the cheerleaders here to Oh No They Didn't will cry in agony and the tears will be tastier than Cookie Puss

I don't think this will flop and every industry expert I've read says that it won't either.

Also I found this for the lucky FF fans living in these cities Denver,Los Angeles,San Diego,San Francisco,Scottsdale and Seattle. PEOPLE & Dreyer’s invite you and a guest to an exclusive screening of Fantastic Four on August 6th, 2015 at 7:00 PM. Enjoy the free, pre-release screening and delicious Dreyer's Frozen Custard. It may not, but the domestic tracking numbers are pegging it with a domestic haul that isn't good (less than the production budget) and afaik it still isn't picked up in China.

No one's an expert this far out. We're all just guessing. The only #s I've seen are from BO.com, which put FFINO clearly in the floperooski category.

I just don't see who the audience is for FFINO. It's not for kids, fans of the Story films, followers of the MCU or fans of Marvel's classic First Family. It's being released during a very competitive period following two Marvel Studios Marvel films. The costumes are awful, Ben is hard to look at and FOX forgot to hire a box office star - unlike every other recent Marvel or DC comic book adaptation.

So who spends the $10 bucks (no 3D!) to see this thing? Outside of fans of the X-Men franchise with dreams of a connected universe, I'm not seeing it.

It's about a $100 million dollar movie it doesn't need a huge opening weekend to consider it a success financially. The competition in August is not killer. There are two action movie that open in that month one is the Man from Uncle which opens the week after and Hitman which opens 3wks after.

If the movie is any good in the eyes of critics and has a cinema score of something like B+. It will more than likely stay in the Top 5 for most of the month. Which is what Kingsman did and that movie opened to 36million and ended up grossing over 400million worldwide.

Honestly... isnt pre screeners on that level sorta odd for a big summer blockbuster? Sorta sounds like theyre taunting people with free admission and custard to get a word of mouth going...

And are you actually wishing for this to be a bad movie? Wow.
No my wish if for Marvel to get this franchise back, period! Whether you want this to be go or not is immaterial to me.

I don't need your approval but Fox clearly needs as much of our money as they can get. So lets see how that works out in the future.

My interest in the movie has zero to do with my love of the X-men franchise. I was paying this movie no mind until the first trailer caught my interest. And I am still interested in the movie, as I don't particularly care about behind the scenes drama. I mean, I know this forum has become sort of toxic toward this movie. But I know there were a few FF fans who liked a few of the things they have shown, if not everything.

The audience is far bigger than the comic book fans. As Jurassic World has shown. Is it really impossible for you to foresee this movie attracting an audience? No, I don't predict this to be a major hit at the box office. But, I don't think Fox is either.

By wishing Marvel to get back the rights, you are infact wishing this movie to be bad.

Don't be shy.

So do I, which is why I'm not supporting this one.

Deadpool looks pretty cool though.

BINGO!!!!

People are psyched for DP, but I still thing the critics are going to crucify it....Push come to shove maybe I'll rent it though.

If Kinberg used the reshoot funds to include a scene of Benji punching a T-Rex then, yeah, this thing may find an audience. But as is, I don't see it. Longtime FF fans may be relatively small in number, but the loathing of this film is apparent by anyone looking at the comments section of any article addressing Trank's "contemporary re-imagining".

And the marketing is all over the place. This was supposed to be a dark, body horror hard sci-fi piece. Now FOX is selling us a YA superhero flick that looks more and more like a rehash of the Story films.

FFINO doesn't look funny, sharp or scary and the action scenes aren't anything we haven't seen before. The only reason you would see this is if you're a fan of the FF. Too bad Trank and company told us to go scratch.

They will believe anything negative on film because they want film to fail.

Or we can listen to the crap the cast says in interviews or the crap the director says on twitter or the crap we see in the trailers and want this to fail. :woot:

You have outdated info. It went over twenty million dollars over that budget, and Hitman was moved up a week.
