Awesome

Man, they make it sound like the accident happens half way through the film. Hopefully, that's not the case.

I'm very assured this movie is really Sci-fi so it has a very slow build up, very little action but when you polish the characters the pay off is great.

I know this is a superhero movie, but theyr eally want that Fantastic Four space adventure vibe you know?

I'm looking forward to the Sci-Fi part of it. The previous movies didn't really delve into the science, can't recall but I think they went up to space really easily and into a convenient space station, then straight back to earth with only the machine reed built as the science part

For me about 30-40 min mark is ideal.

Not sure the running time but if it's 90mins or so that would be fairly close to the halfway point.

Even Brian Hitch can't make those costumes look good. What's done is done but I can't help but feel like either the sequel or the MCU reboot will have better uniforms.

True on both posts.

I've been reading some of the Mark Waid/Mike Wieringo Fantastic Four run, that's some good Fantastic Four... fun stuff. Wish this looked fun.

So the 3D conversion is officially cancelled?

You'd think true fans of the Fantastic Four would be upset that Disney doesn't even publish their comics anymore.
Wrong!!!!

"TRUE FANS" see the full picture, not what's convenient. Disney paid $4.5B for Marvel. Their not going to churn out new stories and characters for a franchise just so another company can make 100's of millions off of them.

That's just common sense. And I'm not so selfish and entitled that I don't understand their situation!

So what Marvel squandered away like 15, 20 years ago is irrelevant. Marvel's been in good hands ever since the acquisition by Disney so I can't blame to for making sacrifices in order to get the rest back!

That's an awesome poster, Ene! Where did you find it?

He's like 6 feet, isn't he?

Based on the soundtrack, the accident doesn't happen until about halfway through. Doom won't have much of a presence until the end, either. It does not look to be a very action heavy film.

I like the comic poster, but it looks like a Hitch imitation to me. :b

Man I really wish Ultimate Fantastic Four/Future Foundation had an ongoing. :(

Lol settle down, Lex Luthor.

New stories? These movies don't adapt "new stories." The FF have decades worth of stories that Fox can tell. Nothing Marvel publishes today effects the stories Fox will tell. This is about taking pennies and dimes away from Fox because a few readers might get interested in a FF movie. But Marvel doesn't want that. They don't want fans of the FF.

Marvel didn't squander anything. If they hadn't sold these rights there would be no Marvel now.

Yeah the people Marvel and Disney are hurting are the comic book fans by not giving us an ongoing and who knows, they might even not do so many Omnibuses anymore or something.

Correct on all points.

It'd be pointless to hold back on new comic stories and characters so as not to give Fox more as Fox already have decades worth of stories and characters to use already, they'd just be stifling the creativity of their own comics.

You missed the part where this film was absolutely supposed to be 3D, it was filmed with it in mind, and it was initially marketed as a 3D film. There's only one reason this film isn't in 3D:

That's great and all(especially if you want to zero in on such things) but you may have missed the part of my post about liking some movies to not be in 3D.

Is it possible that, since Thing doesn't wear pants, that Sue's powers of invisibility are working overtime throughout the movie to preserve his modesty by making his penis disappear? Maybe it's still there but we just can't see it.
