Oh yeah, so I guess Sue just gets her powers after the fact? Maybe they just didn't want a woman on their mission. Adventuring is for the men.

But seriously I don't know the context and maybe there's actually a clever reasoning for it. It's just another odd piece to this endlessly fascinating production and the bizarre ideas put it into it.

I enjoyed it to be honest.

You know what? Me too. I guess the score really does help.

I listened to the whole score the other day and never felt blown away, but mixing the score with visuals does help each other out within the context.

Is this an actual clip, or has it been heavily edited? If this is an actual clip from beginning to end as it will appear in the film, it seems like this has the same problem that was my biggest pet-peeve in the Tim Story films - there's no drama, no build-up, no anticipation, no emotional engagement.

In ROTSS the FF were facing the end of the World and it was dull and flat with no intensity, and that's exactly what I'm getting here - They're travelling to a foreign dimension and there's no feeling of intensity.

I think it is edited. Too much stuff in just 1 minute. Not buying that's an actual unaltered scene from the movie.

Released clips tend to be heavily edited for EVERY movie, so it being the case for this movie is not a shock.

When I see a 'clip' I expect it to be a 'clip' silly me.

As release approaches, MOST movies actually show clips so you get some sense for the flow, pace, communication and chemistry between actors etc. Being able to see full scenes develop contrasts with the shorter segments we see in trailers and allows us to better judge the film.

This film seems very reluctant to show us any of that.

I remember one of the first clips released for The Wolverine was the bullet train scene, it was under two minutes and a lot of people didnt really like it but when the completed version was shown in theaters.. it became one of the highlights of the film.

Personally I liked the clip and the cinematography of them entering the Quantum Gate.. and I think its gonna be way longer and better in the complete version. I think we will see Sue, Franklin and Elder talking to them before they enter the Quantum Gate.

LOL the only thing that came out of that train fight was that SM2 did it better.

Just watched the clip. It seemed edited and ADR'd to hell. And the dialogue was kinda weak in its delivery. Particularly from Johnny.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if I remember correctly, didn't they name the planet in the Negative Zone where Earth is, "Terra." And isn't there a whole civilization there, including Terrax?

One of the theaters is 2 hours away from my place tho.

Wonder if I should go watch it? Hahahaha.

If the 100 minute runtime is right(it probably is), you'd be driving longer than you'd watch the movie.
