I saw it years ago....I don't remember many specifics....just that it was boring with several moments of loud noises intended to shock and scare....or wake you up depending on your situation.

So many gems from SciFi/SyFy... But so much utter garbage too.

Farscape was also on SyFy back when it was Sci-Fi and Stargate SG-1, Atlantis and Universe, with that last one being the death-knell of the franchise.

I can't say that FARSCAPE is the only reason why I dislike the GOTG franchise... But I think it did it before GOTG and it did it better.

Like said above. It has some gems, but most of those are series, and not movies. Stargate SG-1, and the newer Battlestar Galactica remain two of my favorite sci fi shows of all time. Stargate SG-1 in particular ranks up there with Star Trek TNG, for me. Well minus a few miss seasons on SG-1.

Their made for TV movies are more where the bad rap comes from. They make a giant snake movie. Then a giant metal snake movie. Then a giant two headed snake movie. Then have a movie where they all fight. All bad CGI, and acting. Now rinse, and repeat the formula with other animals. Sharks in particular, including Octopus-Shark hybrids. Again, a few have been OK, but most SYFY movies are awful, IMO.

Then again, I watch little TV anymore. I haven't watched the SYFY channel in a few years.

Good Samaritan Fatally Stabbed After Stopping To Give Woman Money | HuffPost

A Baltimore woman was fatally stabbed Saturday after she rolled down her car window to give money to a seemingly struggling young mother, according to police.

Jacquelyn Smith, 52, was in the front passenger seat of a car with her family when they stopped to help the woman, the Baltimore Police Department told HuffPost.

Believed to be in her 20s, the woman was reportedly holding a cardboard sign stating “Please Help me feed my Baby” while cradling either a baby or an object that had been wrapped to look like one, according to the police statement.

After handing the woman money, a black male reportedly approached the vehicle to thank the family, the statement said.

It is alleged he then “reached in to grab the female victim’s wallet when a struggle ensued.”

“The male suspect then produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the torso before fleeing the area on foot with the female suspect who was holding the sign,” the police statement said.

Doctors were unable to save Smith, who succumbed to her injuries.

Homicide detectives are currently working to identify both the male and female suspects.

My mother foolishly keeps giving money to panhandlers. I keep telling her that it's going to be the death of her one day, because of situations like this. She won't believe me.
