:bow::bow:
but not enough Johnson in Fast 6. and he was not sweating. :csad:

i watched some videos on youtube from Luke Evanks. the guy looks like Jason Staham's brother in real life. in the movie he had the same intensity like Staham. both are badasses. i would pay a million to see both of them in a movie together.

Here you go:

We can negotiate payment, but I'll only accept cash.

Basically what they need to do with the next one is drop the unnecessary focus on melodramatic plotlines and just have fun. Fast Five was such a blast was because it was an explosive combination of the delightful mischief of Ocean's 11 and the pulse-pounding adrenaline rush of the Fast and Furious series. Sure, it was derivative but it was a potent mix nonetheless. Four words for the sequel: less angst, more attitude.

Part of the reason there was so much angst in this film was because Letty was back, so they kind of had to have scenes of Dom dealing with that.

Now that they're all a big, happy family again, and [BLACKOUT]the Shaw brother has killed Han[/BLACKOUT], it's going to be less angsty and more of a non-stop, revenge-filled action extravaganza.

It'll be Expendables with cars. Which is not bad.

I'm in agreement about less angst in 7. Fast Five was a blast, but I was bored most of this film. I just don't give a **** about Letty...at all. The amnesia plotline, Dom's constant memory lane speeches, and the family BS just didn't click with me.

Han and by extension Giselle's story line is the only part of the franchise Ive ever really cared about. Not sure why, but Han's character has kept me coming back. Once they wrap up the Tokyo events and settle that plot line for good I'm probably out.

Tokyo Drift should have been apocryphal or alternate reality. And Han being the first one killed makes the person's who died for him death in vain.

They were always heist movies. The racing plays a very small part.
I guess I meant that 1 and 3 were more about the racing.4 5 6 are the same to me a little oceans 11 a little Italian job.

Not necessarily. Because we already have Tokyo Drift. Sure we know Han's fate but the third movie gave us a lot more with the character. He didn't just die after his love saved him as movie 6 implied.

For those that saw this movie:

Was there an Iron Man joke in this movie? They referenced the other Avengers throughout the film:

-Roman called Hobbs The Hulk
-The head guard Hobbs talked to when he squeezed his hand called him Captain America
-When Hobbs called Tej the name that popped up on the phone was Samoan Thor

Just wondered if there was an Iron Man joke in there somewhere.

Saw it earlier, it's pretty ridiculous in awesome ways. 8.5/10.

I don't think there was.

all those avenger references were even more amusing knowing that elsa patakay is married to one

I feel like if I was Dom, and Hobbs showed up with a picture of Letty, I would look at that, then look back at naked Elsa Patakay lying in the bed, and be like "nah, I'm good."

I've only read the last few pages, but has anyone mentioned The Rock's disappearing and reappearing beard?

haha I noticed that, he was without a beard in the big military hummer talking on a talkie

Something that I thought was weird. At the end of Fast 5 Eve Mendes character tells Hobbs that the pictures of Letty were taken a week ago in London. In Fast 6 Hobbs tells Dom the same thing, that the picture was taken a week ago. So it seems like the events of Fast 5 took place only a week or two ago during the opening of Fast 6. Also at the end of Fast 5, Mia is just begining to show her baby bump, at the start of Fast 6 she is giving birth so Fast 6 has to take place at least a few months later. Maybe this was a continuity error? Or maybe I am wrong ha?

This also brings up the question of why it took Hobbs so long to track down Dom and the crew if he knew Letty was with Shaw for a few months. Also, my friend said that you can see Jason Satham in Tokyo Drift when Han dies, has this been confirmed? Tokyo Drift is the only Fast movie I don't own but I will probably buy it now lol. Lastly, has it been offically confirmed that Jason Satham is indeed playing Saw's brother in Fast 7 or a different character?

Statham does not appeare in Tokyo Drift in the original version. That's not to say that Lin won't go all George Lucas and put a hologram of him in there when they re-release a box set of the series.

Is it offically confirmed that he is playing Shaw's brother? Fast 6 only kinda implied it but he could be playing a diffrent character.

Either brother or someone very close to him. He had Letty's necklace so I doubt Owen Shaw would just give it to a henchman.

Its confirmed...his name is Ian Shaw.

Who knows maybe thats his cousin

Yea that's true but it also brings up another question. How did he know Dom was the one that killed Shaw? None of Shaw's crew survived to know who killed him. The only people that knew were Dom himself and his crew. But I guess Owen was talking to him about Dom and his crew before he died. Guess we will find out for sure in Fast 7.
