Saw the movie earlier today.... Bar a couple of niggly points for me... I had great fun watching this.

So Tokyo Drift isn't shown in the titles then? Does 2Fast 2Furious really get the shaft?

No sign of Tokyo drift IIRC and there were only a couple of shots from 2F2F... BUT the rest of the series follows a single story in a sense....

Saw the movie and really enjoyed it.. On par with the others in terms of humour and over the top story and whatnot but the action was great and the chemistry between the team really helps to pull you in to it too.. Saw it with a friend who hasn't seen any of the others and he enjoyed it too....

and that ending... WOW totally unexpected - got quite a few audible gasps and woahs in the cinema (and this was England where audiences aren't normally that way inclined). Definitely interested to see where it goes now.

It has its charm. Cole Hauser was a decent villain and I appreciated that they didn't kill the bad guy for once.

I wish Devon Aoki was brought back.

She hardly has any dialogue but for those who wanted her to play Wonder Woman would now have to erase that out of their heads. Shes not actress material.

Well, Gina is a brunette, can fight well, and is very attractive. It's natural that WW fans have considered her as one of the candidates to play her, and she'd be perfect too...if she knew how to act.

This movie was ridiculously stupid in the best way possible. Good fun to be had. The setup of this movie just had me laughing. Feels like a team of superheroes reforming to take on the new super villain that has popped up. Wouldn't be too out of place if they all suited up before they got in their cars with some of the things they do in this film.
