Fast and Furious 6 Is A Go

No way they would make it that long, its not necessary.

Yeah, 2Fast2Furious was pretty week and Tokyo Drift didn't even feel like it was part of the same franchise. But Fast & Furious got me interested again and Fast Five was f***ing epic. This looks like it could be too. The Rock was a great addition to the cast and I think Gina will be too. And hopefully Luke Evans will give this franchise the one thing that it's been missing in pretty much all of its installments--a great villain.

See, I think 2F2F almost killed the franchise since it lacked Vin Diesel and they got lucky with what Justin Lin did with Tokyo Drift. He basically did a stand alone movie who's main purpose was to set up Vin Diesel's return at the end to re-energize the franchise and it worked perfectly.

I just hope the movie is focused more on vin diesel and paul walker not The Rock(even though i love this dudes movies). Love the trailer cant wait.

That's awesome, but it would be so much better if they were fighting in bikinis.

In a hot tub.

Filled with jello instead of water.

Now you're just being silly.

Jell-O is way too expensive, the generic gelatin would be much more cost effective.

Nope. Fast and Furious I was bored by it and I also thought it was a mess. Plus, the whole car racing angle got tired for me.

That's kinda how I felt about it too. The real selling point for me was seeing Dom again for real, but the film wasn't entertaining as the previous films (even if they weren't as good as the first one). Still wonder why they made it so boring.

I'm in.

And Gina Carano needs to be Wonder Woman. Like, yesterday.

That trailer has me even more excited to see this movie!!! That fight between Gina and Michelle looks awesome!! Im so there lol Fast and Furious 6, just take my money already lol

Having watched half of a really bad Vlog review of the trailer... It wouldn't shock me if the movie starts up with the race that was suggested at the end of Fast 5...

I'd like to see that race! It's fun thinking of how it would go between Dom and Brian. One of the things I like about the movies is how Brian is improving in skill (F4). It makes a good debate between who's the better driver.

F6 just looks awesome. I loved F5. Everyone had such good chemistry.

And now they're bringing down planes??!

I feel like this franchise has become so much better now that it's embraced its inner-ridiculousness, lol. Looking forward to this.

We've definitely come a long way from living life a quarter mile at a time.

I don't like that after being portrayed as such a badass "Inspector Javert" in Fast Five, Hobbs is shown groveling to Dom's crew for help and allowing himself to be dictated terms to. He should've done like Terry Benedict in Oceans 12 and punished these fools. :cmad:

Well they did save his life. And you forget that he did let Dom and Brian go at the end of 'Fast Five'. He's not really in a position to seek vengeance or revenge when he let them them walk away to begin with.

He learned to respect the team. In this, I don't see it as 'groveling' more than him using a very viable asset to his advantage since as mentioned in the trailer, he's tried and failed to catch this new crew.

He let them go under the condition that they leave the money behind (which they screw him out of) while promising to catch them later; kind of what Blade did to that mook vampire in Blade II ("Oh, you didn't think I forgot about you, did you?"), only not as vicious. The post credits sequence showed that he was as determined as ever in his pursuit of them.

Now I have no problem with Hobbs respecting them in some fashion or utilizing their talents for his case, but the trailer almost made him seem almost apologetic in disturbing their basking in their ill-gained millions, and like I said he's allowing himself to be dictated terms to. It would've been more faithful to his original portrayal for Hobbs to haul every single of them in and force them to work for him under threat of lengthy prison sentences, while sweetening the deal by offering the Letty reveal and possible pardons.

Well…suppose we just to wait for the movie to see the entire context of the situation.

Yeah that would be kinda similar to what happened in Oceans 12... But I think that would be awesome all the same... They probably just pushing for time since its easier to say that Dom just called everyone up again.

But looking at the synopsis and the trailer I would say that this new crew took him for ride, which is why his swallowing some humble pie... Unlike Dom and the gang, this new crew don't mind killing innocent people and since he knows Dom owes him one, he probably feels this is necessary to bring a swift end to not only this heisting spree but a killing spree as well.
