Fast and the Furious 9: The Fast Saga

Just came back from this and they officially jumped the shark BIG time.

The amount of ridiculous stuff that happens in this film... oh god.

The action in the other ones now looks like normal, grounded stuff compared to this :funny:

Lower your expectations, even for a F&F movie. While it was fun, this was just pure comedy.

Great time at the cinema, though!
I saw this yesterday....... This movie is like a group of kids playing with hotwheels while eating unlimited candy and then telling them to direct F9 with no studio interference , Some of the decisions they made in this film LMAO seriously i was cracking up through most of it. My theatre couldn't even be bothered to laugh at romans jokes, Everyone just felt ...Off. Just bonkers action and crazy plot devices, im still chuckling now after 24 hours of seing it. Oh and the explanation for Han and that Tokyo drift scene...

Regardless i still had a blast , There's no way i could watch this again because of my redundance of braincells from the first viewing but i would advice you guys to completely turn off. Have to admit ,they done a good job on Doms/Jacob's backstory but damn the rest of this film i........ Worst one yet 5/10

Oh yeah, Han's ressurection explanation was absolute crap and didn't make any sense. If anything, it completely undermines Tokyo Drift and makes it redundant.

But what nearly made me walk out was the Yoda line. Whoever wrote this should never be allowed near a film again. Even for something as stupid as the FF franchise, that line was one of the cringest things i've ever seen.

For me, this series is long over.

Each part reetroactively retcons the previous one and diminishes its importance. I'm waiting for Giselle to be revived.

Hopefully FX is the final one. I havent seen this yet but it sounds like it is high time this series wrap things up and start over.

Oh god how could i forget, that scene was a dumpster fire man, terrible dialogue :funny:

FYI, Cipher's line explaining Jakob and Dom being brothers was so stupid. I guess kudos to Charlize Theron for saying it with a straight face at least. I'm paraphrasing:

"I knew the Torettos dealt in mixed bloodlines, but I didn't realize there was a *Nordic* strain."

Ugh, just ugh.

Resurrecting Han is this movie's achilles heel. It adds nothing to the film, and the explanation is terrible.

I would have gone the City Slickers 2 route and gone with a twin brother.

Interdimensional Wormholes?
Time Travel?

Both as well as: Zombies, aliens, wizards, cyborgs, pirates, killer sharks, Nazis, Nicholas Cage, clones of Keanu Reeves, dinosaurs, Cowboys and Indians and Roman Gladiators.

Alien invasion.

Dom and the rest must steal an alien engine to build fyling cars that are faster than aliens spaceships.

Well, the original Fast And the Furious film is ALREADY a clone of a Keanu Reeves film, Point Break. So...

Come On Universal, Crossover the franchise with Jurassic Park.
Dom takes on a T-Rex!
YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!

How long before Tyrese declares that Dom and "The Family" can easily beat the Avengers?

It’s funny, all the intended jokes fell completely flat for me, but it was everything else that I laughed at instead.
