Fast and the Furious 9: The Fast Saga

I figured the projection of every adult in the US being able to get the vaccine by the end of May would encourage studios with summer release dates.

Yes for the US market. The problem is international has become such a big factor that they still won’t make profit.

Still won’t make as much as it would have pre covid. This franchise does really well overseas and I don’t see other countries being as vaccinated as the US will be by then

Yeah none of these movies will make as much as their pre-COVID potential, but I guess something is better than nothing for these studios.

I really want them to bring back Johnny Tran and give him a backstory with Han. Wouldn't be the most outlandish storyline they've done.

Wow, I didnt knew FF9 was released today.
I wish it would have been a longer movie overall.

Well, they finally hit space!

And since death doesn't mean much in this franchise anymore, I hope the end twist reveals the true mastermind behind EVERYTHING.

I refuse to watch this on anything less than an imax.

I'm shocked they went with that particular take of Dom and Jakob pulling their guns out on each other, it's terrible. You can see there's a delay with Cena getting his gun into position because he doesn't get a proper handle on it, you're telling me you couldn't get a cleaner take of that? Also, it needs to be said that Dom isn't intimidating in the slightest these days, Vin looks as chunky as I've ever seen him on screen here, I'm shocked he thinks this is a muscular look for him. Tyrese looks out of shape as well. By FF10, they'll ditch the backyard BBQs for a drive to good ole Mickey D's, calling that now.

one last ride. For realzies this time, yo. (Until the next one, of course)
