It's a 2 hour war on physics and the durability of the human anatomy!

Dom gets a Batcave, uses cars as catchers mits, pinball flippers and projectiles, oh, and he pulls a building down with 2 giant chains, is Vin head writer as well now? Tej and Roman in space......well they listened to what some fans wanted I guess.
It's funny having watched the first movie on Sunday where it's street racing, running a garage and jacking trucks for DVD players it's insane to see these guys getting an encrypted spy message like they are IMF to set them on their latest mission to stop a world threatening high tech threat, and all of them now fight and use weapons like professionals, it's like Lin started off expanding the scale by making them into a cool mobile heist team and then segued into making this his own Mission Impossible franchise.
They're tieing themselves in knots with their timeline and explaining characters existence but I thought the flashbacks they used to explain Jacob's backstory and issues with Dom were well done and Cena did fine in the role with Jacob's arc going how I expected. Of the cameos I liked Helen Mirrens the best, the scene with Dom and Queenie in the Noble M600 was a lot of fun. Charlize Theron must be loving this gig, a big cheque for 3 scenes that she probably shot in a couple of days.
The action was huge as usual, I thought the opening sequence and the finale magnet chase were the best two but I don't think either were as good as the best sequences in 5, 6, 7 and 8. The movie disengages with reality moreso than any other film in the series and I'd probably rank it 6th in the franchise overall not counting Hobbs & Shaw.
