Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Zemeckis is a god among directors, and he did his best work in the eighties. Tt was really hard to pick between this and Back to the Future, but in the end WFRR? isn't just my favorite movie of the eighties, it is one of my favorite movies ever made. It's like Chuck Jones, Roman Polanski, and Billy Wilder all got together and decided that instead of making Chinatown, Sunset Blvd., or What's Opera Doc?, they would all just collaborate on this movie instead; and then they cast Bob Hoskins and Christopher Lloyd and got a machine that turned Veronica Lake into a cartoon
!!! If you don't love this movie, you have no soul.
