Just got back from my morning work out, feeling damn good. Today is 1 week of no cigs for me. Everything seems to be going pretty damn well right now, couldn't ask for much more.

As I've mentioned in the other thread, even if we managed to edit all our old posts that are editable, there are hundreds of threads closed by the thread manager that are uneditable, meaning that everyone is in danger of being banned because they can't do anything about something they posted in the past.

It's the thread manager system that will be the partial undoing of us.

My sister recently started smoking, which definitely bothers the rest of the family, including me. A come from a family (or at least extended family) of addicts to a lot of things, including cigs, so nice to hear you're making good strides.

It's rough but doable. Thinking about the $$$ I was saving, and how guilty I'd feel if I caved and had to start all over helped me stick with it. I'll be quit 5 years next month.

The more people see it, the more it should be visible for site managers.
And hopefully, they feel that harsh punishing members for long past mistakes is sort of unfair, especially since the rules were more lenient before now.

My mom side of the family has alcoholism but I seem to be the only one really afflicted with it that it causes problems for. I'll be 5 months sober in 8 days. I've been smoking for 16 years and always loved it but I just want my damn $5 a day back. I can do a lot of stuff with $140 a month. I'm also really out of shape so I want to get back to looking good like I used to

Even in the legal system for most countries, as far as I'm aware, if a new law is introduced, you can't be prosecuted for something which transgresses that law done prior to it being enacted when it wasn't considered illegal.
