I've been floating this idea around now, but I would really like the idea of a female villain in the S6 movie. Spidey doesn't have very many, but there are female versions of Doc Ock and Kraven, and some lesser-known ones like Calypso, Shriek and Pity. Any ideas?

Well first off, a Sinister Six film has to be announced and with the Suicide Squad news it's best Sony backs down.

The film's already been announced, Goddard is confirmed to write and direct it, we just need more news. I don't think it should be scrapped just because a similar film is coming out earlier. There were two Hercules movies released within months of each other this year, and if Suicide Squad and Sinister Six are both released in 2016, it's not like that would be the first time something like that happened.

Aunt May.

Maybe Sally Fields will finally have something interesting to do.

I've always thought they should make all the villains different instead of all white guys.Even though Jaime Fox Electro sucked we should see more things like that.Make it like:
-Make R.H.I.N.O a dwarf.
-Make Doc Ock a quadriplegic.
-Make Kraven into a female.
-Make Mysterio a deformed guy.
-Etc.

Calling it now, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Sinister Six film ends up getting scrapped in favor of ASM3 due to ASM2's negative reception, just like Spider-Man 4 got cancelled after Spider-Man 3's mixed reception. Introduce the symbiote and use the ideas from Sinister Six in ASM3. Spider-Man bonds with the symbiote and fights the Sinister Six before removing it.

On topic, the most likely female member of the Sinister Six has to be Black Cat since Felicia Hardy has already been introduced and works for Harry. It also sets up her potential spinoff.

One word; Pity.

Some fan will know what I mean by that.

But S6 replaced ASM 3 in the schedule because of the negative reaction to ASM 2, so I don't think you need to worry about that.

Anyway, I'd say odds are Black Cat will be in the film, especially if they want to set up another spin-off for her.

I'd love to know Sony's thinking behind this. "ASM2 didn't do that well, so instead of developing a better story and nailing ASM3 let's make a Sinister Six film that happens between the two." I can't stress this enough, but the Sinister Six would be better off as the villains in ASM3 than main characters in their own film. How hard is it for them to understand it really wouldn't take any effort to do better? It just seems like everything is moving backwards. One step forward with ASM, two steps back with ASM2. And now Sinister Six. I feel like this version of Spidey has potential to rival DC and Disney/Marvel at the box office, but likely never will. What a shame too.

Everyone laughed at me when I told them to keep an eye on the real villain of the Webbiverse... The Laundry Sheriff. Oscorp is simply a decoy. :o

I'd prefer Lady Ock to Black Cat to be honest. They already had Harry become the Goblin before Norman, so they could have Carolyn Trainer become Doc Ock before Otto.

But, at least in my opinion, Harry is a stronger character than Norman. Trainer couldn't hold a match, much less a candle, to Otto.

I really dislike the idea of Black Cat being in the Sinister 6. Thats ruining the character, shes never been and shouldn't be.

Defiantly agree to this. The idea of Harry being Goblin first wasn't a bad idea imo. It coulda been executed better, but it adds to the tradgedy.

That was my biggest disappointment with ASM2. Harry has such a great, tragic arc, but they mussed it all up by cramming it all in one film. Hopefully he'll get his due in Sinister 6.

Thats what I'm hoping for too. I enjoyed Dane's portrayal quite a bit. They really should of had HArry introduced in the first one.

Yeah, Dane was great. Eons ahead of Franco.

Trainer isn't that well known or fleshed-out a character in the comics, but they could really expand and develop her for the big screen. Plus, they could add Octavius's megalomaniacal evil genius traits to her the same way they added Norman's traits to Harry in TASM2. That sounds like a more interesting choice to me than Black Cat, who really isn't a villain to begin with.

Nobody cares about the books.

Anyhow, maybe they'll make Felicia the Vulture like in the discarded SM4 script, although I hope they don't use the name Vultress, because that's a friggin stupid name.

S6's plot will likely take a lot from the books. The inclusion of Fiers alone should point to that.
