I'm assuming he missed that part.

Anyway, Norman didn't die. He disguised himself and went out of state. I believe he was going to Florida.

gotta say i'm not down with the goblin in this show being a sane norman. It would have been nice if it were an alter ego he wasn't aware of and he'd been blacking out.

pasting norman's head on teh green goblin's body just didn't feel right.

gotta give goblin to tas, multiple personality turning point ep FTW. cold hearted mannerisms on the goblin's face don't work pre 'Revelations' in the comics.

nygma619, you did read my whole post, right? I am aware of the cliffhanger, I had nothing against that, but regardless, I would've liked to see Norman's first real death done right.

Plus, the cause of death sucked, imo, crashing into a whole batch of bombs? Yeah, real original. I know this is also targeted at kids, but with that brief use of the impaler in the episode, it was clear to me that the Goblin would have died as he did in the comics, but no, they had to take the childish way out.

Honestly, I was actually half expecting them to try and work the impalement scene in. But of course, since Norman survived and they still haven't established anything about Goblin healing powers, this leads me to think that they want the impalement to be his "true" death later on down the line.

I mean, that blade coming out of his glider is quite a morbid little detail, if you think about it. It's even a featured action on the toy!

^^ I think it's been kind of stated that he can heal by the fact that he's still alive at the end of the episode. I don't know, it's always interesting to see what gets bastardized next.

this death does cheapen gwens but it looks like harry probably kills gwen in this series anywho...

yea harry killing gwen if they are going to do the death by the goblin for her it would make more sense for it to be harry's gg since they are in a love triangle currently.

Season Two is over?

When did it even start? Is this show not on in the US anymore?

Eh, I still can't see this show's version of Harry Osborn being a worthy Goblin for something like that. Also enough of the fantasy's on how's Gwen gonna die? It's getting a little annoying.

It's aired in Canada, Bulgaria, and Australia. You can easily find the episodes on YouTube.
Season 2 will start up on Disney XD, in the US, in a few weeks.

Yeah I just watched 2.1 on youtube. Sucks that CW didn't pick it up for the second season.

Well, at the time Norman wasn't exactly the greatest Spidey villain when he killed Gwen (it was more Doc Ock at that point) so it was a bit of a surprise when he killed Gwen and got killed immediately after as well. Besides, the way they have things going between the 3 it would be a bit more dramatic for it to be Harry, especially if they made Harry be as evil and insane as he was in those early 90s JM DeMattis stories.

the only problem then is that harry doesn't die a hero but i guess it's not that important as he's still a victim of circumstances, especially if parker finds out his dad is still alive and harry doesn't believe him

Nah, I prefer Norman to be the culprit. Especially since we know Norman is still alive.

Anyhow, I don't expect Gwen's death to be done till college if they even do it all.

the problem with norman is that he then fake dies twice.

any fake death is bad enough, let alone two.
