This movie was incredibly brutal. Decapitations, amputations, bullets to the head (from batman no less) but I enjoyed it.
Yeah I've read and enjoyed DC Comics for over 15 years now but that doesn't mean I like the trend in modern super hero comics for shallow displays of blood and gore.
It's messed up when you can't show a kid a DC Comics movie because of the violence.

Tucker also makes an interesting comment in the commentary that I want to make a note of. If this Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox title sells well, we could possibly see more Flashpoint-inspired material, such as an animated adaptation (in whatever form) of the Batman "Flashpoint" material. He drives the point that these need to sell. So, to all you pirates out there, stop illegally downloading an instead actually support these titles. You want more variety, more titles, more everything? Well ... buy these movies!
So many pirates...
Well i trust you BH/HHH, but i doubt majority here ever bother to buy even a dvd out here.
How many of you pirates are even going to bother supporting this?
Why is some Moderator breaking the Terms of Use and keeps deleting my post in some vain attempt?

My posts is not breaking any rules, whoever moderator it is, stop it.
And I bought it on demand and am buying the DVD later, so I will have supported it in two ways heheh.![]()
Question: Why does Flash not remember how the other universe was before Flashpoint happened, in the comics.....?? He gave Batman that letter from his father at the end....right??
Yes they have actually as technically you've been accusing people (without any sort of evidence) of being pirates. That would fall under name calling not to mention the consistent posting of said accusatory posts (spam: the posting of indiscriminate messages from the same user) .My posts do not break the terms of use, nor are they spams. I am allowed to posts reviews and highlight the context.
Not my animation style (I wish they had stuck a little closer to the JL designs of Doom or Crisis on Two Earths....IMO, it would have made this movie the best DTV yet.
Just watched Flashpoint 20 minutes ago. I liked it a lot. Probably my favorite DTV. They did a good job with it, art style took some getting used to, but everything else was pretty darn good.
I know a lot of people really liked this movie but for me it was easily the worst thing to come out of DC animation in a very long time, especially considering their track record has always been pretty solid. I was legitimately crying from laughter multiple times watching this movie with my friends (granted we were all fairly stoned at the time).
Seems everyone has a issue with the animation style. It was obviously meant to look Anime-ish but thats the problem when non Japanese try to do Anime style.. it looks like it's lacking (Just look at the amicom superherione figures and comic series)
