Was there a point to Chewie’s fakeout death? We see two transports so obviously they were going to pull this. But man do they build that up as a super emotional moment...only for Chewie to be in the next scene, killing all the suspense or sadness.

Nah, that's not a secret, certainly not one that he wouldn't say in front of Poe. Finn being in love with Rey was hinted at in TFA, it makes sense for that to be the secret.

No, I agree. That is what I thought it was too. Might still be. But Finn being Force Sensitive was not a thing until this movie.

The way I would have worked it, is either not show him until Rey senses him or have Kylo confront his uncle Chewie.

Also Leia's lightsaber hilt was very nice imo. I loved Rey's in the end. I thought it looked like crap in the photos I had seen, but I thought it looked great in the film. She also built a switch that is actually functional!!!

Oh and before I forget. I died when I saw her in Luke's helmet and sliding down another sandy hill. I love that woman.

I thought the Chewie thing was just a plot device to add to Rey's fear that she might go dark. And making her worry she is a danger to those she loves.

Where in the galaxy is Luke's green lightsaber. He clearly had one when he was training new Jedi and Leia. They can find everyones lightsaber but his.

I wouldnt mind seeing Force sensitive characters in future stories that arent powerful enough to be Jedi but still have their own talents and form alliances with the New Jedi Order.

I really hope Rey's saber is shown in detail in the Visual Dictionary. It looked like a one hand hilt but I couldnt really tell.

I saw someone on Reddit suggest Rey may have made the hilt so she could attach it to a staff if she ever wanted to. Personally I love the idea and that sort of versatility being brought into the films.

Leia's saber hilt is just beautiful. That was love at first sight for me.
