Sci-Fi Fringe Thread - Part 2

I'm marathoning right now in preparation. Have watched the pilot, the first episode with September, the first season finale and now I'm on the second season premiere. Hope I can get through a few more before the finale starts.

And then it'll all be over. :csad:

I'm really looking forward to tonight, but then again, I'm NOT... :csad:

sure hope Olivia, Peter and hopefully somehow Etta will get to see that rainbow...

but I'm really nervous about Walter's fate... hope he makes it, as well...

Windmark vs. Michael... I immediately thought of Cell vs. Gohan. You know what I'm talking about...

It was cool seeing the other side again

I liked the ending. I'm really gonna miss this show :C

can someone explain the ending. I mean, LOST did a great job in explaining time and stuff, the ending was clear and emotional.

Pretty good finale, glad to have a somewhat happy ending for Peter and Olivia. I take it the drawing of the tulip triggered something in Peter to realize what Walter did or all that happened... at least that's how I took it.

The last 15 minutes were too predictable, but I was in it all the way up till then!

Question 1) So... did Michael kill Windmark or did Olivia pull one last power up? It had to be Olivia, right?

Question 2) Windmark was one of the most agile Observers to date, and he didn't notice a truck coming at him?

Question 3) yeah.... it's great that Peter & Liv got their family back, but do they even remember Walter, or as far as they know did he simply disappeared and never came back?

Still... it was a satisfactory ending to one of the most trippiest sci-fi series ever! Salute!

THE FEELS!

Every single one of them.

My god. WHERE. THE. ****. IS. JOHN. NOBLE'S. ****ING. EMMY?!?!?!

Just..just so many scenes to talk about.

One of the most satisfying moments?

"My name is Olivia Dunham You killed my daughter. Prepare to die."

Fringe, you were my favorite thing. My favorite thing!

Loved the finale, but that said... don't see how that changing of the timeline worked at all. How did they stop the invasion and yet not any of the Observer-related **** before that? Namely, September saving Peter from drowning? Or does that lead back to Peter ending up in the timeline when he shouldn't have?

Too much confusuion...

The ending shot was Peter realizing something's happened to Walter.

Like Walter explained, he's been deleted from 2015. Peter will now rush over to the lab, find the tape with Walter's goodbye, and that'll be it.

But, they obviously shot that moment in a way to make it look like Peter might suddenly remember. It is Fringe after all :p

Gawd, that Walter/Peter stuff... :csad:

Yeah pretty much It all goes back to Peter disappearing erasing all the **** September did saving Peter from Raiden lake.

Eh. That's how I feel about that finale. One of the least satisfying finales I've experienced with a show.

And looking back at JJ and others saying this finale was huge and they couldnt believe they pulled something like this off on tv, come on, this was typical Fringe stuff. Felt like a typical season finale. This whole season just left me with a dissatisfied feeling.

One of the best series finales out there for me. Loved all the nods they made to the MotW episodes. The Walter/Peter scene totally killed me. :waa: The final Walter/Astrid and September/Michael were amazing too.

Also who distracted Walternate from discovering the cure ? With no Observer to distract him. Walternate would have made the cure & save Peter. Giving Walter no reason to steal that Peter. Great finale. But poorly thought out ending
