FX's The Americans

Looks like nosy Stan might undercover the whole thing while Liz & Philip are quarantined.

Paige really ****ed things up. If their cover holds beyond next week and they do get the sit down with the pastor and his wife. They should kill them right in front of Paige. Drill it in her head "this is what we do!" before putting her on the plane to Russia.

Sitting down with the Pastor and his wife was just a cover story to throw Paige off their scent, once she finds out they're dead. But, killing them right in front of her might scare some sense into her.

Nina's story seems to be going nowhere this season.

Damn [blackout]Nina. Like, I had her pegged as obviously doomed from Season 1 onward, but it took so long to happen, I was beginning to believe it never would, so this was weirdly surprising to me, lol.[/blackout]

Nice to see Paige is finally starting to realize the gravity of what she's done. Too little too late, though.

I really wasn't ready for that :(, I guess Martha is now on borrowed time.

Inevitable but still... :waa: :waa: :waa:

well
what else could they do with nina
i am surprised she lasted this long.

martha could join the dead by end of season.

I loved that character but to me her story was done when she was taken away. I thought they kept her around a season or two too long. Totally came out of nowhere though.

I still think Martha has some story tell. Who knows where they will take Stans story with her though.

I actually thought that guy's dad might be able save Nina from a death sentence at least. She was never getting out. He's going to be one pissed off Russian. Might end up flipping to the other side (Stan) completely.

While Phil and Liz have come to terms to sparing the pastor. Can't help but think Paige might head the other direction. Especially if **** continues to pile up on her.

Yeah I think Paige will end up taking a life by season's end at the latest.

I hate this show. Will never watch again!

:csad:

Poor Nina. She really was just a tool that was used by both sides unfortunately. Her story had seem to run it's course anyway.

She's another candidate for who ends up on the plane to Russia by season's end.

I forget, but did they ever say what the mission was with the make-up saleswoman?

Uh, the Asian one; maybe it has some thing to do with transporting the virus they've been working with this season.

So this episode was the final nail in Martha's coffin. The walls are closing in and I just can't imagine any conceivable way she gets out of this.

Martha saying 'KGB' to Gabriel was pretty much her signing her death warrant.

If she makes it back to the office, thinking things are okay at work, they may use her to finally get to Philip, as she's seen him without his disguise....

At this point, it would be more surprising if Martha makes it out of this unharmed and alive. There's really no way out now especially after her KGB outburst. She wasn't even rattled that much when Philip confessed that they were KGB but she lost it when she found out Philip was gone and was worried about him. What a tragic character. Exceptionally acted as well. Seems like in the next episode [blackout]she will go back to the FBI confessing her crimes?[/blackout]

On a lighter note, I lost it at that shot of Gabriel waking up hearing Martha and 'Clark' having some sexy times. :funny:

Wait, i didn't get a preview for the next ep when i watched it OnDemand...

I thought that was intentional, as i know shows do it when they don't want to give away what's to come.....

Thinking ahead, there's an ultimate showdown coming between Philip/Elizabeth and Stan. Knowing your best friend neighbors are the spies you've been looking for all along; can't wait for that inevitable reveal.

Mine had a preview.

Basically, they are looking for Martha and said that she could be anywhere. And then there was a sequence of scenes of Martha calling someone on the phone and I think it's implied that she's calling the FBI saying she can't do this anymore or something like that. The sketch of Philip was also being shown around.

I wonder how Elizabeth's Korean friend is gonna play into all of this. They still haven't revealed what's Elizabeth up to on that one.

I was surprised by how much time had passed between Philip revealling himself to Martha and now. It felt like months, but he said it had only been 3 weeks.

Too bad for Martha. It sounded like Phillips' request to get her out went through according to the meeting at the Russian embassy. Phillip might be able to get her back on board. But after that outburst I don't think Gaberial will have any of it.
