I liked how lively Philip seemed compared to Elizabeth. That stuff is wearing her down.

I was thinking Hanley was going to last longer for Paige to deal with on her own.

On any other show, the Mr and Mrs.Smith-ness of the pilot would seem melodramatic, but on The Americans, it is so dramatically potent! After all these years following Phillip and Elizabeth through thick and thin - having two opposing factions within the USSR utilize the Jennings against each other? I can't even deal with the possibilities of that right now. What an endgame.

Also love all the montages we got this premier. There isn't a lot of talking, Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel do a lot with just looks nowadays.

I can just see Philip,Elizabeth and Paige all going down due to Paige taking out books on espionage at her local library.

I was thinking though, what if Stan finds out, it's because of Paige and he uses her to get to Philip and Elizabeth, add that to Philip in the dilemma of stopping Elizabeth?

Stan finding out is something where if it doesn't happen I'll be okay with.
