Everyone get in line. Or better yet, don't even bother.

This is from the Cinepremiere Trinity photoshoot (meaning Henry and Ben as well).

Gal's legs look so smooth, sexy, shapely and silky to touch. :ilv: :hmr:

life size Hot Toys Wonder Woman statue

The statue isn't bad but it doesn't quite capture Gal's likeness. There seems to be something about her nose/ cheek area or perhaps her mouth which doesn't look right and almost gives her a kind of longer face.

I'm not sure it even resembles Famke. But I think from the top of her nose to the bottom of her chin looks too long. And the bits of skin on either side of her nose which are kind of under her eyes going into her cheeks are too pronounced. It makes her look older than she is.

In fact, she looks more like the younger Susan Sullivan (Castle's mother on Castle) than either Gal or Famke.

Regardless of who b it appears to look like it doesn't look like Gal.

Ofc it doesn't resemble Gal.

Life-size not life-like. :whatever:

Hot Toys doesn't always get their females right. In fact, they're more hit and miss than the males. Their Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts looked terrible, and even their ScarJo Black Widow took a few tries. Their Elizabeth Olsen Scarlet Witch wasn't that great either.

This is just a statue though right? Hopefully they'll learn from this when it comes to the action figure rather than just importing the mistakes from here. Gal is so beautiful and none of the figures have captured her likeness yet.

These sculptors also need to not just look at the character from the film but general photos of the actresses. It's more important that it looks like the actress than specifically like the character. Because if you get the actress's likeness that is recognisable to everyone, you'll probably have nailed the character as well, as people's minds will fill in the blanks.

Entertainment Weekly said:
Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) has a major supporting role, with her alter ego, Diana Prince, running afoul of Bruce Wayne as they engage in rival missions to steal some of Luthor’s most disconcerting secrets. Even before she brandishes a sword and her golden lasso, Wonder Woman’s secret identity is pretty badass.

Nice !

Wait, isn't that a bit spoilerish ?

So in all honesty this actually gets me more excited!

Gal looks beautiful in that photo.

But yeah, I think it is a bit spoilerish. I'd prefer not to know any details about BvS at this point, especially since we're so close to the film. It would be better to be in spoiler tags.

We can still talk about the WW movie, but there's no point in discussing BvS so publicly at this stage.

:hubba :hubba Dat cleavage-split! :hrt:

The face looks ten times more like Gal separate than actually attached and fully assembled.

I think it's because you're so close up that you can't see the faults. It's like when doing a painting. When you sometimes look up close at a portrait, it can look like the person, but when you stand at a distance, it suddenly doesn't look like them anymore when you see the whole context. These things need to account for both long distance and short distance viewing, and to find a happy balance between the two.
