I really like this pic of Gadot. You can almost see a certain strength/determination behind her eyes -- something I don't mind WW having at all. It's from a film called Knight and Day with Cruise and Diaz.

Due to the lighting in the shot, her hair appears a bit darker as well. Bonus.

Damn, she's in that movie! I watched that not long ago (before she was cast as WW) and didn't even connect the dots until you posted that. She played a small part as another secret agent or something.

I was looking at her Twitter page a short while ago, where she posted the image. I never saw the film though. Youtube has the whole movie, but it was uploaded in a foreign language. I just fast-forwarded to the part where she comes on. Like you said, she has a very small role. I couldn't understand what any of the actors were saying, but Cruise was apparently having dinner with Gadot's character. He abruptly turned her face to the side and whispered something in her ear, as Diaz's character looked on, i.e, spied, from the outside.

I can't remember what was said in the scene either or how she came off in it. At the time I watched the movie, I didn't even know who she was and didn't pay much attention to her.

They wouldn't have made a point of publically announcing her casting this early and played it up so much in the media if she were just making a small cameo. Will her role be as big as Superman's or even Batman's, maybe not. But I do think that it will be bigger than some people seem to think. I guess Goyer's comment a few months back about wanting to take a shot a writing WW was his way of foreshadowing this news. Well played Goyer, well played.

Yeah, they couldn't possibly be overhyping a cameo just to get free publicity off a big name character. I mean, a movie studio would never do that right?

Well I do think she'll have a sizable role, Marvel announced Renner as Hawkeye and he had like 1 minute in Thor.
