That's my theory as well. [BLACKOUT]The reason Beric and Cat came back as less is because their "soul" passed over and had to be pulled back from death. In the case of Jon, if he does in fact wary into Ghost, his soul doesn't die. It just transfers to Ghost. Only his body dies. So if they can repair his body he can just wars back into his own body and he shouldn't be reduced at all. [/BLACKOUT] It's very different from what happened to Beric and Cat.

I always figured that if Jon warged into Ghost after he died, he would lose much less of himself than Beric or Cat once resurrected.

Why not he could or they could kill them in there sleep. I mean ghost is a trusted pup who goes wherever. If Osha can kill people and escape winterfell Ghost can take care of some soon too be traiters

I'm not saying it's not possible. I'm saying it won't happen because it's a bad idea. Jon won't warg into Ghost and kill people in their sleep like a coward. If he decides to kill the traitors he will do it like Ned taught him. He will fetch a block and chop their heads off. And he definitely won't kill the entire Night's Watch. What those traitors did they did because of fear. They don't know what is coming and they don't realize that everything Jon is doing is for the survival of the realm. Once they realize what is really coming they will change their minds. The most prudent thing to do is to lock them up and when the White Walkers arrive they can fight or die.

I'm sure they are wanting to keep the actual moment as under wraps as possible.

Makes me wonder if [BLACKOUT]This over the top brow beating they've been doing with Ollie is misdirection. Maybe he tries to do it or can't do it and it makes the audience feel like Jon has dodged a bullet and then he gets shanked by someone else.

But then who does it? Honestly, I wanted to think Aliiser might defend Jon. Alliser seems too honorable to lead that and seemed content with being First Ranger.

I guess if Alliser could square it away as a "for the greater good" he might do the deed. Then again, it could be some no name person who ends up doing it. At this point, based on the stares he was receiving when he returned to the Wall I'm wondering if its gonna go down mob style. All of them rushing him at once. Then they back away and he is lying on the ice in the middle of the circle of men bleeding out.

jon has to survive. theres no question about that. Otherwise there is zero use of the wall etc... not to mention, Kit is under contract through season 6.
