S5E10: "OMG, I hate Brienne. Worst deus ex machina ever!"
S6E01: "OMG! I love Brienne! Best deus ex machina ever!"

Nah I still hate Brienne... but that whole scene with Theon/Sansa leading up to the same scene she had with Cat back in season 2 was good iMO.

I think there was a lot they left out of the preview for next week. As for Dorne, we'll be done with it by the end of the season.

Not if they team up with [BLACKOUT]Dany[/BLACKOUT]

Also... Trystane... He was on the goddamn ship with Myrcella... and was painting eyestones for her... right???

So the Sand Snakes have a magical ability to teleport from Dorne to any location they desire. :o

They're gonna drag out this Jon Snow thing, aren't they?

It was said that Prince Oberyn had studied magic at the Citadel and with the warlocks. Maybe he gave his bastards lessons?

Semi srs

Edd is going to get Tormund and Wun Wun.:awesome: Thorn is going to rue the night he killed Jon.

Can't wait to watch Arya kick that *****'s ass.

Drogon needs to get his ass and gear and help his mama.

Tyrion's terrible Valyrian.:funny:

Yes.

Did they just randomly have Alliser and co start trying to get in the room with Jon and have no reason in doing so lol

Did i miss something or they just went to a scene where hes knocking on the door

Pretty much. I think we're supposed to assume they heard rumblings of the guys being holed up in there, lol.

That's ... not a plot hole... but just dumb... it's like they heard about them trying to resurrect Jon or something which wasn't even a topic of discussion. lol

I think its clear some of the spoilers we have aren't true..
Edd went to go get the wildings (Davos: "There are others that owe Jon their lives")... Wun Wun was seen hitting down a door... the 'leaked' part said it was Winterfell but its clear not it was Castle Black... looked like CB more anyhow

Pretty obvious why they want his body. They want to burn it like they have every other dead body at the wall for the past five seasons.

They must have quickly gotten out of the fancy dresses they had on while on the dock during the Season 5 finale, then either swam or rowed a boat (Sails would have been seen) to catch up to the ship Jamie and Myrc were on and boarded them.

Then they had to stay unseen for the two or more days it took to sail back up to KL.

Yeah it's pretty dumb. I'm sure they'll magically be back in Dorne next episode.

What the heck was up with the Mereen shipyards burning? Just an excuse to keep the storyline going for another season?

Or they followed Jaime's boat at a safe distance in their own boat. When they arrived at Kings Landing they waited for Jaime to leave the boat with Myrcella's body. Then they got onboard and killed Trystane.

There are ways to follow a ship and stay below the horizon so that the ship you are following can't see you.

Yep. Ep 4 if I am a godly man.

Yeah... but the other nights watchmen are with Davos too... they know about burning the body to keep him from becoming a wight... the only reason for this is resurrection and that wasn't even hinted at lol

To keep the Harpy relevant.

The harpies burned them. They want to destroy everything g connected to Dany. Burning the ships also would hurt morale of Dany's followers.

Well they can't exactly burn the body in the room they are in and they can't go outside and do it because Thorne will no doubt kill anyone still loyal to Jon because they could cause trouble.

But it was just silly as ****. Why not have Jaime or Cersei off him? Or have some logic behind the sand snakes doing it.

It's D&D simply tossing this plot out the door so they can start the new plot with [BLACKOUT]Dany and the Sand Snakes eventually[/BLACKOUT]

Bleh that's as poor an excuse as Trystane. there could have been some good context there regarding the red woman, resurrection, all sorts of stuff that could give them reason.... but it seemed like the entire nights watch minus the higher ranks that killed Jon were still supporting him.

I don't know... the acting, directing, and visuals were great... but the dialogue and plots were very ******.

I guess so. Gotta be careful around those harpies. After all they're the best trained soldiers in the world.

Mowing down unsullied, killing legendary knights and scaring dragons away with their mighty spears.

The Harpies will likely end up killing the Nights King.

Killing Trystane seemed like the logical step after killing Doran. Ellaria and the Snakes killed Doran. Trystane is his son. They want to wipe his line out entirely that would include his son. They don't want Trystane claiming the throne of Dorne.

As for why Jaime didn't do it, why would he? Trystane loved Myrcella. He obviously didn't kill her. Trystane is as much a victim of the sand snakes as Jaime and Cersei. Plus Jaime would be thinking about the best use for Trystane. He is more useful as a living hostage than a corpse so he left him on the ship. He just didn't count on Snakes and Ellaria killing Doran and coming for Trystane.

Not after Thorne said his bit in the dining hall. And why would Davos or any of the nights watch even consider resurrection a possibility. None of them have seen the red woman or any red priest resurrect anyone. Their reason for protecting the body isn't weak. It's exactly what they would do in that situation knowing what they know.

No... I know the sand snakes had reason to.. .I was talking about them doing it logically instead of teleporting lol

as for jaime... I don't know why he and D&D have done a lot of things so yea i was expectig it to be jaime.

Why did Dourne kid turn his back on her? Dummy deserves what he got.

What are you talking about? They have no reason what so ever to be protecting his body. They burn everyone. They just burned Aemon last year... why is his body preservation important to Davos?

They had zero reason to pick up his body and take it to a room...and now protect it... He is dead. Dead Dead Dead. So why take his body, when they would be burning it regardless putting themselves in danger? To show proof to Tormund or something? That's silly.

so is the first ep of this season worth watching or is it just stupid s*** like last season

It's worth watching for Theon/Sansa/Brienne alone. and Liam Cunningham is always worth watching.

i may give it a try

this talk of teleporting dornish chicks is reminding me of the kind of stuff that left a bad taste in my mouth last year
