I love the second and third manip. Getting a Darby O'Gill and the Little People vibe from them.

Some of the manips are amazing but I always felt that they fell down in one regard: in most of them you can still see the beauty of Catelyn Stark.

The one I felt closest to what I imagined was probably the most understated: it was just a manipulation of Cat into a very old looking woman. Add in some gruesome prosthetics and it's what I imagined LSH to be.

I've probably get done for hotlinking, please let me know if it's ok. :oldrazz:

you're fine.

and I mentioned it earlier that Melisandres true form reminded me of what LS would look like... it was weird lol

I read a theory about Stoneheart, Berric, and Bloodraven being linked. The Berric/Bloodraven connection was based on how GRRM described each character's initial appearance - very similar. The connection between Stoneheart and Berric was them both being shells of who they once were. Devoid of personality and all.

Episode 2 & 3 synopses:

For episode two, called "Home":

Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) trains with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow). In King’s Landing, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) advises Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman). Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) demands good news, but has to make his own. At Castle Black, the Night’s Watch stands behind Thorne (Owen Teale). Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) proposes a plan, and Balon Greyjoy (Patrick Malahide) entertains other proposals. Written by Dave Hill; directed by Jeremy Podeswa.
Game of Thrones:

As for the third episode, titled "Oathbreaker":

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) meets her future. Bran meets the past. Tommen confronts the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Arya (Maisie Williams) trains to be No One. Varys (Conleth Hill) finds an answer. Ramsay gets a gift. Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Dan Sackheim.

Episode 3's synopsis saying Bran sees the past" makes me wonder if he will see the Tower of Joy, earlier in the season than we thought, in episode 3. Or if he will see Jaime stabbing The Mad King in the back hence the episode title "Oathbreaker".

Bran's vision could be a backstory on the Night's King, if they decide to keep the idea of him having been a Lord Commander that took a White Walker for a bride. Balon's other proposals - maybe this is where Euron shows up? Either Theon returning to Pyke by episode's end or Euron returning from exile fit the title.

Episode 3 is when we'll see some of Arthur Dayne, according to Luke Roberts but not the actual fight scene or confrontation, which was a Jack Bender episode, 5&6.

But **** that noise. Balon Greyjoy entertains other proposals!

Other proposals being a swan dive off a bridge.:hehe:

They can live in Euron's new world or die in the old one. He's coming for Westeros, from Dorne to the Wall, he'll bring the entire diseased temple down atop their heads, he'll sow their screaming wombs with his seed. It'll be biblical.

Is Dayne the dual-wielder that we see screaming as he sticks a sword in one of Ned's men?

Tell me about Dayne.
Why does he have two swords?

They're called "Dusk" and "Dawn".

Ser Gerold looks to him to make things right and he would do it. He would see the glory of the Kingsguard restored. Have you ever seen it, victarion? The White Sword Tower, glimmering like a spike of pearl and silver, its banners caught high in the morning breeze. Have you ever been called home by the clear ringing of silver trumpets? One day Dayne's path shall lead us there.

What is dead may never die!

I guess you could say that Euron's about to send Westeros to pee pants city.

Euron is Carl all grown up.

wait.. nevermind the show decided to keep his eye :o

So why is everyone hating the Dorne storyline?

I'm getting bored of the Arya storyline tbh. I liked her better when she was with the Hound.

Book Dorne was a more egalitarian society than the rest of Westeros. The characters in that storyline, Doran and Arianne mainly, were better drawn than the ones we got in the show. The book gave a better sense of the general political climate of Dorne. We get to see Doran leave the Water Gardens for Sunspear; along the way we see that the general populace want war against the Lannisters.

Mostly, I like that Doran decided to take revenge through a kind of proxy war - having a Targaryen restored to rally the people against the Lannisters, rather than getting directly involved.

Guys, in the intro, that tower that looks like a spear with the red-eyed snake encircling it - is that supposed to be Sunspear? Because I wanna see that location.
